Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's world, most of the people buy food from different countries in a supermarkets. Some people blieves it is a right thing a have a chance to try different things and some disagree with it . And I agree with the statement of diagreement. Now , we will discuss both of the views with the reason.
People believes by having a chance to buy food of other countries helps them to have a variety of food. Many times there is no availabity of food especially seasonal fruits and vegetables and other kinds of items because of the weather and with the help of having other countries of food it's quite easier to buy and eat it . For example in UK, most of the time weather is cold and the production of summer fruits like melon and mango is relatively tough rather than asian countries . Also the trend and the other countries stuff people liked much as they can tell their relatives like"I went to the market and look i got an American item " just to make them jealous . Also they thinks other countries food is higly organized and no hygeine problem.
On the other hand, most of them including me believes that buying food from differnt countries really let down your farmers who done alot of hardwork and when you not buy the itme it bring down the prices of it ,which makes tough for tem. Also there will be a problem of import with it and it makes people to have diffeerent kind of items to eat.
In conclusion, there are different views on it but according to my point of view we should make our own products more value due to our farmers and natural products which are more benificial rather than buying internation items be

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the issue, but the development of ideas is limited and sometimes unclear. While you state your position, the arguments regarding the impact on local farmers and the 'jealousy' aspect of consuming imported goods are not fully explored or logically supported. The conclusion is incomplete, cutting off mid-sentence. To improve, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed argument with clear examples that directly relate to the prompt. The current arguments are somewhat superficial and lack the depth required for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'Also' to start sentences. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a smoother narrative flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and spelling errors, such as 'blieves' instead of 'believes', 'availabity' for 'availability', and 'benificial' for 'beneficial'. You rely on basic vocabulary, which restricts your ability to express complex ideas precisely. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to global trade, agriculture, and economics. Additionally, pay closer attention to spelling and ensure that you are using words in their correct context to avoid confusion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people believes'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple, and attempts at complex structures often result in errors, such as 'when you not buy the itme it bring down the prices'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with misplaced commas and missing full stops. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency, before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
