Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is true that consumers prefer to visit supermarket for buying food items, which are produced in different parts of the world. As supermarket allows customers a wide range of benefits, I strongly believe that it a positive development.
There are a number of reasons why buying food products from supershop is a positive development. One possible reason is that availability of wide range of products. Supershop allows people to buy diverse range of food products, which are produced in different parts of the world. As a result, consumer can select appropriate products for maintaining healthy diet by comparing among different brands. In addition, consumers can get all types of necessary food products in a single platform. For instance, Swapno supershop not only offers quality meat to the customer but also keeps spices and vegetable items, which require to cook meat products. Therefore, consumers can get all types of food items in a single setting.
Moreover, supershop aims to deliver fresh and safe food items to the consumers and it never compromise with the product quality. So, consumers cannot hesitate about whether the food products are safe or deterimental for health. Furthermore, supermarket also save consumers valuable time as it offers different variety of items. As a result, people, specially working age, do not need to visit local food market, where a significant amount of time require to buy any items because of over crowded place.
In conclusion, since supermarket offers a diverse range of benefits to the consumers, I firmly believe that this development is desireable.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position that the availability of global food products is a positive development. The ideas are relevant, focusing on convenience, variety, and time-saving benefits. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'fresh and safe' food is asserted but not fully explored or supported with specific evidence beyond a general claim. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the implications of these points, perhaps discussing the economic or cultural impact of global food trade, rather than focusing solely on the convenience of the supermarket setting.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'One possible reason', 'In addition', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be more natural. For example, the transition between the benefits of variety and the benefits of safety feels slightly abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and there is a clear progression of ideas throughout the text, which helps the reader follow your argument easily.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'diverse range', 'valuable time', and 'detrimental'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'supershop' (which is not standard English) and 'never compromise with the product quality' (should be 'never compromise on'). Additionally, there is some repetition of phrases like 'food products' and 'types of'. To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and idiomatic expressions to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary and better control over word choice.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the supermarket', 'a wide range') and subject-verb agreement ('significant amount of time require' should be 'is required'). There are also minor punctuation issues, such as missing spaces after commas. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and article usage would significantly enhance the quality of your writing.
