Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the advance era it is facility available all over the world that the people go to the super market or local market and buy any food produced all over the world .I thinks that this convenient system have good effects as well as bad effects .
On the positive hand the main factor is that peoples buys any type of variety of foods and vegetables . In this way peoples buys any thing according to their desires . One other factor is that in the nutritious and healthy diet every kind of food and vegetable is required and this requirement is fulfilled by this system .One other main good effect of this system is progress of economy of the producer country . as we know that the mostly country based on agriculture and if the country farmer is strong so automatically country progress increases.
On the negative side of this modern system is that its demotivates the local farmers and national agricultural system . This is because if the import material have good quality that peoples do not buys the local brands food and vegetables. In this way this system has bad effects on country economy. one other bad effects that the imported material has high rates . The other main bad effect of this system is pollution creates during the transportation .For example the transportation by vehicles produces smoke that causes air pollution.
In conclusion I wants to say that this system has advantages as well as disadvantages on the economy of country .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both positive and negative aspects of global food availability. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention economic impacts and environmental concerns, the points are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the argument regarding local farmers is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples or logical consequences. To improve, ensure that each main idea is supported by a clear explanation or a concrete example, and maintain a consistent position throughout the essay. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively summarize the main points discussed in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'On the positive hand' and 'One other main good effect' are used repetitively and are not natural collocations. Additionally, the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, making the progression of arguments feel disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases (e.g., 'furthermore,' 'consequently,' 'in contrast') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and often repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'good effect' and 'bad effect'. There are also several issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'advance era' instead of 'modern era' and 'import material' instead of 'imported goods'. Some phrasing is awkward, which occasionally makes the intended meaning slightly unclear. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'globalization,' 'sustainability,' 'economic growth,' or 'carbon footprint,' and focus on using words in their correct grammatical context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'peoples buys,' 'system have'), incorrect article usage, and awkward sentence structures. While the meaning is generally understandable, these errors are persistent and occur in both simple and attempted complex sentences. To improve, pay closer attention to basic grammar rules such as pluralization and verb conjugation. Practicing the construction of complex sentences using relative clauses or conditional structures will also help you demonstrate a wider range of grammatical control, provided you focus on accuracy alongside complexity.
