Many individuals in my country going to supermarket to buy food which is produced in all over the world. I think that this is positive development and i will justify this statement with relevant reasons and my viewpoints in upcoming paragraph.

Firstly, in many countries people are go for shopping in supermarket and buy that items which are produced in all over the world. People want to try other food also instead of their traditional food because in some countries they are only following their traditional food so must try other traditional food also which contains nutrients and carbohydrates which is very important for our body. Some individuals wanted the food which they saw on the social platforms in their advertisement.

On the other hand, it have negative developments also such as expensive food and expired food. Some individuals have issues about the prices of produced food like sea food in india is very expensive to buy. In other countries indian food is expensive just because of export and import of food and some supermarkets decides their own prices of food. In supermarkets do spam also with people like they are selling food which is expired they only just erase manufactured date on wrapper and print new manufactured date for selling expired food.

To conclude that, some individuals want different taste in food instead of eating their traditional food. People are also buy to food for consume more nutrients in their body. But there are some negative points also like supermarket have their on prices on every item which is very expensive for buyers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both positive and negative aspects of global food availability. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention nutritional benefits and consumer trends, the arguments remain superficial. The negative points regarding pricing and food safety are mentioned but lack specific, well-supported examples. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the argument is insufficient for a higher band. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations or concrete examples, ensuring that each paragraph contributes significantly to your overall argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'Firstly', 'On the other hand', 'To conclude'). There are instances where the logical flow between sentences is weak, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between traditional food and social media influence is abrupt. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the connection between ideas within paragraphs could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of linking words will help create a more natural flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms and repeat words like 'food', 'supermarket', and 'expensive' frequently. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'do spam' instead of 'engage in fraudulent practices' or 'manufactured date' instead of 'expiry date'. To improve, focus on using more academic synonyms and collocations, and ensure that you are using words in their correct context to express your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Many individuals... going to', 'it have negative developments'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain errors in complex structures, such as 'People are also buy to food for consume'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and verb forms.
