In present age, a huge amount of individuals visit the supermarkets for buying food items in whole world. Below I will explain some reasons that support my opinion.
First of all, this age is modern and every person needs many needy that things for his daily life and also for activities so, having a supermarket brings many facilities for citizens. For example, in developing countries mostly peoples daily goes for buying wanted item and they have no needs to located other things such as, clothes from other shops and that markets always contains all items.
Second of all, these supermarkets gives many job opportunities to jobless citizens so, it brings a helpful section for population. The supermarkets and other big shopping centre also play a vital role in country economy because a huge per huge percentage of people visits the markets and also purchase many necessary item so, this consumption help the country in its growth.
On the other hand, these high buildings brings many disadvantages such as, when mostly people start visiting that mall then these market owners rises the rates of all items so people needs to pay a high cost for for all items. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the availability of global food products is a positive development. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention job creation and economic growth, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack specific, well-explained examples. The prompt specifically asks about food produced all over the world, but your response focuses more on the general concept of supermarkets rather than the global nature of the food supply. To improve, ensure your supporting points directly address the specific topic and provide more detailed explanations for your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'and' and 'also'. There are instances where the flow is disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'and and I think' and 'per huge percentage'. The logical progression between sentences is sometimes weak, making it difficult to follow the development of your argument. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') would help improve the flow and coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally simple and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'things', 'items', and 'good/helpful'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice or awkward collocations, such as 'needy that things', 'located other things', and 'convert the fertile land into the concrete'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited and does not demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and focus on learning common collocations related to economics and global trade.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('supermarkets gives', 'it play a role'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or contain redundant words, such as 'for for all items'. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate, which can occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles or incorrect verb tenses.
