At present, in many nations, individuals can go to supermarket for purchase international food, which is produced all over the globe. In my point of view, it is a positive view. Although, there is also has some negetive aspects.
There are many reasons why individuals go to supermarkets for their daily food needs. Firstly, supermarkets provide a lot of varieties of food, as a result, individuals can buy diffrent kind of food easily. Secondly, when people consume various types of food, they additionally improve cultural awarenesses such as food can assist people understand different traditions and cultures. For example, If anyone eats Italian pizza, they can know about their taste. In addition, international food can ensure better food availability. For instance, if certain seasonal foods are not available in a particular country, they can be imported from other countries. As a outcome, consumers can have access to a wide variety of food throughout the year.
However, there are also some negative aspects to this development. Firstly, the increasing availability of imported food can harm local farmers because they may struggle to compete with foreign producers. Moreover, transporting food over long distances can increase carbon emissions and contribute to environmental pollution. As a result, the growing demand for international food may have negative effects on both local agriculture and the environment.
In conclusion, although buying international food can have some negative effects on local farmers and the environment, I believe that it is a positive development because it provides consumers with greater variety and better availability of food.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all parts of the task by providing a clear position and discussing both the positive and negative aspects of global food trade. Your ideas are relevant and logically developed, such as the points regarding cultural awareness and environmental impact. To reach a higher band, ensure that your examples are more specific; for instance, instead of mentioning 'Italian pizza' generally, you could discuss how the global availability of specific ingredients has transformed local culinary landscapes. Your position is consistent throughout the essay, and the conclusion effectively summarizes your main arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'In addition', and 'However' to guide the reader through your arguments. While the progression is generally clear, some transitions feel slightly mechanical. To improve, try to vary your linking phrases and ensure that the relationship between sentences is always smooth. Paragraphing is used appropriately, with each paragraph focusing on a distinct aspect of the topic, which helps maintain a coherent flow throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'cultural awareness', 'environmental pollution', and 'local agriculture'. However, there are some minor errors in word choice and form, such as 'purchase international food' (should be 'purchasing') and 'cultural awarenesses' (should be 'cultural awareness'). To achieve a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, incorporating more sophisticated or less common lexical items would enhance the overall quality of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as the conditional 'if certain seasonal foods are not available... they can be imported'. However, there are several grammatical errors, including 'there is also has some negetive aspects' (incorrect verb usage) and 'As a outcome' (should be 'As an outcome'). These errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Increasing your control over complex sentence structures will help you achieve a higher band.
