IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.
Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays,supermarket give the facility to choose the food for consumers which exist all around the world.According to this,the customer can buy of such food in out of season to enjoy the taste of food benefits of it.However,it has more positive facts than in negative because,new technologies and innovations made this way easier to buy things in nearest market and there is no need to go the other country to buy different foods.
A diet plays a significant role in society for human beings to survive in the world.Whereas,the trend had been changed now and everyone can buy the various variety in food like fruits,vegetables,snacks,dry fruits,grains food etc.all these can be found in any weather For example,the cooler areas provide oranges to the hotter place in the world and they enjoy by eating this fruit and all others like that which can carry in low incom price rather than,highly recommended price in market place due to the decrement rate of import things.
On the other hand,in restaurant people can enjoy Italian and chinese pasta while living in other countries and they taste the dishes without going to the other countries that is beneficial for globally.Additionally,many countries transport the crops like wheat rice etc.for production food and as well the do business to get benefits in whole world that cause the economy rise of an individual country For instance,Pakistan iaas an agriculture country and they transport the things to other country to get the profit and want to stable in this field.
while,these are the some negative facts to transport the food from other country is carbon emission which can create the effect on environment.Since,it can effect the health of all world to eat the food that stores in refrigerator which is,harmfull biological for human health.
In conclusion,international food dishes provides the better taste and develope the interest in people to buy the things that cause the profit increase in super market but the native marketing values little might be fall down due to this.
