To begin with, many positive aspects are associated with the development. First and foremost is, it provides large variety in the food products available in the market. Secondly, induviduals can taste the different type of food according to their preferances. Another factor is, it motivates the youngsters to visit the different countries. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The student addresses the task by stating a clear position that the availability of global food in supermarkets is a positive development. Ideas are presented to support this stance, such as variety, cultural exchange, and economic benefits for store owners. However, the development of these ideas remains somewhat superficial and lacks depth. For instance, the mention of youngsters visiting different countries or people experiencing feelings of others is vague and not fully extended. While all parts of the prompt are addressed, the arguments would benefit from more specific examples and rigorous explanation to reach a higher band level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas, such as the variety of food and cultural exchange. Cohesive devices are employed, including sequencing phrases like 'To begin with', 'Secondly', and 'Moreover'. However, some of the referencing and transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the logical progression within paragraphs occasionally falters due to abrupt shifts in ideas, such as moving from food variety to youngsters visiting countries. Overall, the organizational structure is clear enough to guide the reader without significant confusion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using terms like 'supermarkets', 'consumers', 'cultural exchange', and 'traditions'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice inaccuracies throughout the text, such as 'Globolisation' for 'globalisation', 'induviduals' for 'individuals', 'preferances' for 'preferences', and 'habbits' for 'habits'. Furthermore, awkward phrasings like 'analysion the study carefully' and 'quiet profitable' indicate issues with word formation and collocation. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they restrict the lexical score to the band 5.0 range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like 'In many nations, food produced all over the world is available...' and relative clauses. There are, however, frequent grammatical errors and awkward constructions, including unnecessary articles ('provides large variety'), double pronouns ('change their their eating habbits'), and punctuation or syntactic slips such as 'majority of the supermarket in the America'. Additionally, the concluding sentence contains a glaring spelling and grammar slip ('Not olny people can taste...'). These errors create noticeable distraction, placing the grammar firmly in the band 5 category.
