IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.
Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
Today in a lot of countries customers go to any supermarket and buy a food produced all over the world. In my opinion this thing is a poaitive development because people get all kind of food from one place and without any effort.
Firstly, in this era we get all kinda of food vagetables and many others produced from one place and we called is supermarket without any effort because we get food of different season and fresh food and if the traders did not give the food to supermarkets we are not able to eat all kind of food because only one country is not able to produce all kind of food there fore all over the world foof came to markets and we buy this food from market and enjoyed our life for example the food type of orange this grown in Eastern countries and when they grow up the traders sell it to the Western countries and after that this food is going in to a different markets and people buy from it.
Secondly, when the vagetables came from another country the is a chance for us to taste a new thing some time in any place at the world the crops of food and vagetables and many other produced is destroy for some reason and at this time this country import food from another country and use this food in this activity the economy of country is raise up and the farmers of the country is very happy.
To sum up, in nowadays all over the world is enjoying different types of food and vagetables from supermarket it is a positive development.
