In many shops nowadays, consumers can find several products made in different countries around the world. That is because rapid changes in both industry and agricultural sectors. Some people argue if this is a beneficial development. In my opinion, buying products of food are made in various countries is a positive development for many reasons.

First of all, consumers can find different type of food. People will have more knowledge about other culture by tasting strang food and trying to cook it. The large variety of products in many supermarkets is a natural result because of the international commerce done between countries. For example, A lot of imports such as snakes and chips found in shops, which lead to encouraging people to try something new. That is explain why it is very benift for residents to eat different kinds of food made in other countries.

In addition, many consumers can find products they need quikley without wasting time because the majority of consumers who buy unlocal food are usually interested in it. Finding differnt food from China, Europe and United states leads to increasing the number of tourists in the country. Consequently, this generates enormous amount of money. For instance, when japanes tourists travel to Italy and then find japanese food such as sushi in many shops thsat encourging them to come back again.

In conclusion, buying food produced all over the world from shops has a favorable impact on the country. Consumers will finf what they need without feeling tired and boring.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the availability of global food in supermarkets is a positive development. The writer attempts to support this opinion with reasons such as cultural awareness and economic benefits through tourism. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, falling into a tendency to overgeneralize. For instance, the claim that finding foreign food in shops leads to an increased number of tourists is under-developed and lacks sufficient logical connection. Supporting examples, such as Japanese tourists finding sushi in Italy, are overly simplistic. The introduction contains a fragmented sentence ("That is because rapid changes...") which slightly detracts from task formulation. Nevertheless, all parts of the task are addressed, earning a Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay displays a generally coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph-by-paragraph structure containing an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. The writer uses basic cohesive devices like "First of all," "In addition," and "In conclusion," but referencing and logical progression are occasionally unclear or disjointed. For example, the transition between sentences in the second body paragraph feels abrupt. Paragraphing is used, but the internal logical flow between sentences often stumbles, placing this text firmly within the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range. On balance, the clear overarching structure supports readability, justifying a Band 6.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The student uses an adequate vocabulary range for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as "international commerce," "enormous amount of money," and "favorable impact." However, there are numerous noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that detract from precision, such as "strang" instead of strange, "benift" instead of beneficial, "quikley" instead of quickly, "unlocal" instead of imported or non-local, and "differnt" instead of different. Additionally, collocation is sometimes awkward, as in "buying products of food are made." While these errors do not severely impede overall communication, they prevent the lexical score from rising above a Band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some capability to construct multi-clause sentences, such as "when japanes tourists travel to Italy and then find japanese food... that encourging them to come back again." However, grammatical accuracy is weak, featuring frequent errors such as sentence fragments ("That is because rapid changes in both industry and agricultural sectors"), subject-verb agreement issues ("products of food are made"), and incorrect verb forms ("that encourging them"). Punctuation and article usage are also flawed throughout the text. Because errors occur frequently and occasionally disrupt the flow of reading, the performance aligns best with Band 5.0.
