Student answer (Band 5.5)
It has been observed that supermarket is the best place for individualls to purchase their need such as food and some groceries in the globe.I presume that the benefit of these precautionary would surpass its drawback to a major extent. My posiyion is to elaborated further with reasons and relevant example.
Examining the brighter side of, the foremost on is that the public can save a lot of time because they simply buy to supermarket instead of go immediately to the location of the place who produce food. For instance, the public who live in the city can not go to the mountain or the place who produce rice or vegetables because to arrive there need t take different bus three times. So with supermarket assist them to buy on the city, the people just visit and buy some types of goods to consume. Not only that the shops can also manage their materials they require from the mountain or the place the farmer make the harvest with this method easier for costumer for shopping.
Furthemore, they mentioned of benefits, the store company can get a huge of income from the buyer. To add on this most of costumers in the city often buy the expensive ingredients for them to cook. For example, one of the supermarket in bali call Pepito had different types of visitors such as foreigner and local. Most of the foreigner purchase expensive things compare with local.
On the contrary, I would not overlooked the downside. To begin with the market have expensive price. It because the product of the food come from the far place like mountain. They have to pay transport to the driver who delivery it.To illustrate, the coffee in supermarket, it took from kintamani north of bali near mountain.
To conclude that, there are both merits and demerits of buy things from supermarket. However, I believe that is a good way for humans to get something is more advantage because make their life easier.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the positive and negative aspects of consuming food from around the world via supermarkets, taking a clear position that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The candidate covers both sides, noting time-saving benefits and economic opportunities for stores, alongside disadvantages like higher prices due to transportation costs. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitive and under-developed, relying on simple examples such as buying vegetables or coffee from the mountains in Bali rather than exploring broader socio-economic or environmental implications. The position is generally clear throughout, but the depth of argument places this at a Band 5.5 to 6.0 level. Because the core parts of the prompt are addressed with relevant, albeit basic, ideas, it aligns well with Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into logical paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs supporting the positive view, a counter-argument paragraph, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are attempted, such as 'To begin with', 'Furthemore', and 'On the contrary', but their usage is frequently mechanical, inaccurate, or clumsy (e.g., 'Furthemore, they mentioned of benefits'). Referencing and transitions between sentences can be disjointed, which occasionally disrupts the logical flow. Paragraphing is present and generally serves to separate distinct points, but the overall progression of ideas feels somewhat formulaic and halting. These features are characteristic of Band 5.0, where cohesion and referencing are noticeable faulty.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and basic, with frequent word-choice and spelling errors that stem from phonetical spelling and misuse of parts of speech (e.g., 'individualls', 'posiyion', 'elaborated', 'costumer', 'overlooked'). The writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'precautionary', 'demerits', and 'advantage', but these are often used inaccurately or inappropriately in context. While communication is generally maintained despite these lexical shortcomings, the density of errors and lack of sophisticated control prevent the response from achieving a higher band. This performance corresponds to Band 5.0, where vocabulary is minimally adequate for the task but marked by noticeable inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The text contains a mix of simple and attempted complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is weak. There are frequent errors in verb tense, subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure (e.g., 'the public who live in the city can not go... because to arrive there need t take different bus three times', 'I would not overlooked the downside', 'It because the product of the food come from the far place'). Punctuation errors, such as missing spaces after periods and commas, are also common throughout the response. Although some basic sentences are correct and the meaning is usually retrievable, the high frequency of grammatical mistakes places this firmly in the Band 5 category.
