In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.
Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowdays People are enjoy food from diffrent culture and countries. Costomer can go to the market and purches various types of foods all over the world. According to me , it would be the best for all individual . in my opinion , it is positive development for world wide . It will discuss in futher.
To commence with, in morden era people are enjoy massive types of foods from other country. For instance, individuals can buy italian pizza or pasta, japanes food, mexican food in any contry . consumers can easily get rare item in local market or super market . For example, a person in india can easily buy chees from europ or noodle from china . Therfore, consumer has benefits for all diffrent types of food items.
To the same side, some fruits and vegetables are seasonable so it can not obtain in another season . however, can be inport from another country.For instance, people can buy apples from new zealand when local apples are not in season. This may encourage companies to improve quality and keep price reasonable. For example, local dairy companies may improve their product when foreign brands enter the market. Significantly, people are attract foreign brand and purches . Therefore, native people are take it seriosly and they try to make attractive and maintain reasonable price.
In conclsion, food allows people to experience diffrent culture without travel.i totally agree with this statement . people can enjoy food in any country and get fruits and vegitable in any season.
