Student answer (Band 4.5)
Consumers are now able to consume food products which are produced all over the globe from their nearby megamarts. There are many positive side effects for both, the country and to the individual. They are disscused in the following paragraphes.
Looking at the positive empact on the country selling the food products which are benificial for the growth of the countries economy, because as the country produces high margin of protein products, and even the products which have higher nutritions, that products are helping to change the overall countries economic development. For the consumers, it is more convenient to shop for foods in supermarket while it is difficult to find every item

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response suffers severely from being under-length, containing only 112 words against the 250-word minimum requirement. Consequently, the task can only be addressed partially. The writer attempts to introduce the topic and mentions potential economic benefits and convenience for consumers. However, the arguments are cut short, undeveloped, and the essay stops abruptly mid-sentence ('while it is difficult to find every item'). Because the length requirement is not met and the ideas are heavily underdeveloped, the task response is restricted to a Band 4.0 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text attempts a logical structure by starting with an introduction and beginning body paragraphs, but the severe truncation prevents any overall progression. Paragraphing is initiated with introductory sentences and a transition ('They are disscused in the following paragraphes.'), but the main body paragraphs fail to develop properly or conclude. Cohesive devices are minimal, and referencing becomes unclear as the text trails off incomplete. While some organizational intent is visible, the lack of completion and cohesive flow limits the response to Band 4.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, though there are some attempts at topic-related terms such as 'consumers', 'food products', 'economic development', and 'nutritions'. There are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'disscused' instead of discussed, 'paragraphes' instead of paragraphs, 'empact' instead of impact, and 'benificial' instead of beneficial. Collocations are occasionally unnatural, such as 'high margin of protein products'. The lexical range is minimally adequate for the few sentences produced, but errors and limitations place it at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as the introductory relative clause 'food products which are produced all over the globe'. However, control over complex grammar is inconsistent, leading to run-on structures and awkward phrasing like 'Looking at the positive empact on the country selling the food products which are benificial for the growth of the countries economy...'. There are grammatical errors in article usage, pluralization ('nutritions'), and punctuation. Because the text is incomplete and contains persistent structural flaws, it fits the Band 5.0 descriptors.
