Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now a days in most of the countries, customers can buy the produced food from the supermarket in all over the world.I think, it is a postive development because it reduces time and it create access to everyone.
I support this beacuse it reduces time. People do not have to go outside of the city or country to buy the food. In cities, poeple are so busy in their own life and they do not have much time to shop from far away. So, whenever consumers need any kind of food all over the world they can easily go to the supershop and instantly buy their needed food without wasting so much time by travelling.
Additionaly, because of the supermarkets, it is easy to access. In our everyday life we eat lots of things which is not manufactured in our country but we can find that in the supershop or gorcery shop. Like if I want to eat apple which is not produced in our city but somehow we can buy it easily from the supershops. So, supershops make evrything accesible.
In conclusion, I would like to say that supermarkets is one of the most needed and positive developments in the world which makes our life comfortable and saves our valuable time. Also, the sellers can be benifited by this. Therfore, government should take actions to this, so that people in the rural areas can get the access easily.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing whether global food availability in supermarkets is positive or negative, taking a clear stance that it is a positive development. Ideas such as saving time and increasing accessibility are introduced. However, the development of these ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive, relying on basic examples like buying apples. Furthermore, the length requirement has not been met, as the response contains 239 words, falling short of the 250-word minimum. This under-length impacts the overall fullness of the task completion, aligning the score with Band 5.0 descriptors where ideas are limited and under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The text is organized into clear paragraphs, starting with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a basic overall progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes faulty, mechanical, or repetitive, such as the frequent overuse of transitional phrases like 'So' and 'Also'. Paragraphing is present, but referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., shifts between singular and plural forms like 'food' and 'things'). The logical organization is present overall, but the mechanical nature of the cohesion places the response firmly within the Band 5.0 criteria.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for basic communication, featuring common words related to shopping and food like 'supermarket', 'customers', 'buy', and 'food'. There are attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'accessibility' and 'benefited', but these are accompanied by notable spelling errors ('postive', 'beacuse', 'Additionaly', 'gorcery', 'evrything', 'benifited', 'Therfore') and inappropriate word choices ('supershop'). These lexical limitations and frequent spelling errors cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a Band 5.0 level of lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'In our everyday life we eat lots of things which is not manufactured in our country...' However, attempts at complex sentences frequently contain errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('things which is', 'supermarkets is') and faulty punctuation. Simple sentences often contain basic structural errors or awkward phrasings like 'Now a days in most of the countries, customers can buy the produced food from the supermarket in all over the world.' These frequent errors and the limited range of accurate structures place the grammar at a Band 5.0 level.
