IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.
Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, most of the people go to a supermarket to purchase all types of food which are worldwidely available. i firmly believe that this development has a positive impact becaus accessiblity of all types of food, quality assurance, and also protected from scammers.
In urban development, the idea of supermarket is remarkable which have all sorts of items such as groceries, utilities, clothings and especially food, which are worldwidely availabel. The main reason is the easy access of all types of food under a single roof. It contains different sections such as halal and haram food, vegetarian or non vagetarian and also different meats or seefoods, are available there. For instance a person is Muslim he just straighlty goes into halal food section at there he found all halal foods. As a result, the consumer conveniently gets food of his own chice at supermarkets.
In terms of Quality and quantity measures, the in-person shopping is preferable because at there they select there food which they wants or also check the expiry and manufacturing dates. For example, if a person purchase something online he does not have option to check its quality and also its expiry. therefore In-person shopping is more better option. Furthermore, this also prevent consumer from different scamms. When a person order food from online apps, there are many chances that you don't recieve the same thing or same quality. So, if you go to supermarket you do not scammed like this.
In conclusion, shopping from supermarket has positive impact as the quality of food or other items is as per standards. Therefore, purchasing goods from reputed marts gives you several benefits in terms of quality and quantity check, accessibilty of every kind of foods and also keep you prevented from scammers.
