IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.

Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In today world supermarket become the most visited market among the peoples, and in nowadays supermarket become a place were every person can get every basic thing for their living. From my prespective supermarket need to be become place where every person can get thing easily, and get all those thing which was available in the another countries.

Firstly, if the supermarket kept all those things that are avaliable in the other countries, people can easily bought those things, for example, one family went for vacation in Pakistan, they tried alot of traditional foods over their, even they asked the recipe of that food, after return back from the vacation, one day they want to make that Pakistani food or they tried to find the traditonal Pakistani food in their home country, once they went to the supermarket they got all the ingredient that required to make that food, even in the super market they got sealed pack Pakistani food, so they bought those things and sealed pack Tin and enjoy the same taste in their home. So reason of this example is that if a supermarket kept all those things in the stock, peoples will enjoy the taste of other country while living in their home country.

Secondly, it is the positive development for the supermarket because, every peoples has different demands and requirement, when peoples went for grocery they always tried to bought something new for a change in their routine life. They tried different food and many things else. In this way supermarket become more popular among the peoples, and can become the market where everything was avaliable.

In the conclusion, supermarket were everything was avaliable become most popular among the peoples.
