Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many states in modern era, buyers can go to a food markets and purchase food produced all over the world.I think this is postive development because if a man needs any specifc food then they do not go specific country to buy it.
To begin with, one of the main reasons behind this issues is nowadays people want to prefer to eat different countries foods in thier own country. This is because it has a significants impact on people daily lives. For example, if a man need international fruit they want to go our supermarket then they buys any thing in the market because they need it.As a result, individuals can experience severals benefits. Moreover, this can also contribute to the overall development of society. Therefore, it is important to undersatnd this aspect carefully before when they does not purchase internation food.
Furthermore, another important point to consider is there are severals point that people can aware an purchase any item. In modern days, this positive development become increasingly important for many people. For instance, if a man try a Thai food in their country they eat it because the supermarkets provide a lot of internation products. This clearly shows that different factors can influence people decisions and lifestyles. In addition, taking appropriate steps can help to improve the situation and achieve positive results. Consequently, this aspect should also be given proper attention when discussing the topic.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that global food availability is a positive development ("I think this is postive development"). However, the ideas are heavily underdeveloped and repetitive. Throughout the essay, the arguments rely on vague generalities rather than specific, well-supported points. For instance, phrases like "individuals can experience severals benefits" and "different factors can influence people decisions" lack concrete explanation. Furthermore, the final paragraph trails off with an incomplete thought ("firstly all countries develope a large amount of money"). While all parts of the task are touched upon, the lack of substantive development and shallow reasoning place this response firmly at Band 5.0 according to the task response descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the overall progression lacks clear logical flow. While basic cohesive devices are attempted—such as "To begin with", "Furthermore", and "In conclusion"—they are often used mechanically or inappropriately relative to the surrounding context. Paragraphing is attempted, but the conclusion is abrupt and incomplete. Referencing is frequently unclear, as seen in sentences like "this positive development become increasingly important for many people" where pronouns and demonstratives do not anchor securely to preceding ideas. The lack of smooth transitions between sentences results in a choppy reading experience, aligning with the characteristics of Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently reusing terms like "positive development", "supermarket", and "food" throughout the text. There are numerous word-choice and spelling errors that restrict the lexical range, such as "postive" instead of positive, "specifc" instead of specific, and "significants" instead of significant. Attempts to use less common vocabulary result in awkward phrasing or grammatical confusion, such as "develope a large amount of money". Because the lexical inventory is limited and noticeable errors occur frequently throughout the response, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The essay demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences are simple or attempt complex forms that result in frequent structural errors and non-standard phrasing, such as "before when they does not purchase internation food" and "people can aware an purchase any item". Punctuation and article usage errors are also widespread, including missing spaces after punctuation marks and omitted articles. Although the basic meaning can sometimes be discerned through context, the high frequency of grammatical mistakes causes difficulty for the reader and prevents the response from achieving a higher score.
