In this contemporary society, the availability of food manufactured in different countries in nearby supermarkets, frequently features in public debate. This practice giving opportunities for common people to be part of globalization. In my opinion, this is a positive development for the consumers. The principle reasons for my opinion stem from several factors. Firstly, the increase in lquality of ife-style. Because of this the purchasing mentality of an individual will changes systamatically. By this people will get more access to various tastes and quality. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task and presents a clear position throughout, identifying the global availability of food in supermarkets as a positive development. Key ideas are introduced, such as improved quality of life and the expansion of international shopping experiences. However, some ideas remain under-developed or lack full extension. For instance, the discussion regarding the Belgian biscuit brand and the Turkish apricot brand offers specific examples, but the explanation of how these directly benefit consumers overall is somewhat limited. To reach a higher level, the ideas need to be more fully elaborated with broader implications rather than relying solely on single consumer examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Information and ideas are logically sequenced, guiding the reader through the writer's stance. However, cohesion can sometimes feel mechanical or faulty. Cohesive devices such as 'To elaborate', 'To elucidate', and 'To recapitulate' are used, but referencing is not always completely clear, and some transitional phrases feel forced. Paragraphing is used adequately to separate distinct points, but smoother links between sentences would elevate the organizational flow to the next tier.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'globalization', 'paramount importance', and 'savories'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occur throughout the text, including 'lquality', 'ife-style', 'obtainability', 'systamatically', and 'abroad countries'. Despite these inaccuracies, communication is not impeded, and the meaning remains clear. To achieve a higher band, the vocabulary needs to show greater precision and fewer mechanical errors in spelling and collocation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt at varied structures. However, there are persistent errors in grammar, prepositions, and article usage, such as 'This practice giving opportunities', 'which produced in overseas', 'the foreign goods should available', and 'supermarkets allowing'. While these errors rarely impede overall communication, they prevent the writing from achieving a higher level of control. A greater proportion of error-free sentences and tighter control over complex grammatical patterns are needed to progress further.
