Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, consumers can go to the grocery stores and buy different type of consumable items produced by all over the world. I really believe that this is a positive progress for every individual who are especially living away from their home town and also this development helps the economic growth.
First and foremost, the trend of immigrants has significantly increased as people are living in different countries far away from their hometowns and facing massive number of challenges. Apart of this getting stuff belongs to them and their home country can give a sense of joy. For instance, my favorite fruit is guava but when i moved to Canada i found that this fruit is not harvest here, at that time, I went to Walmart and I found that fruit. That time i really feel so happy and satisfied. So, such great developments are more realted to people's emotion.
Moreover, with the high demand of products from one country to the another also benfits to the financial economy of the countries. As exportation and importation increase the value of products, which helps manufacturer to get the real prices of their hard work. At the same time, this growth also build good relations between different countries. To examplify, India buy and sell products in China which helps build economic growth and good realtions.
In conclusion, globalization is an asset in this changing era because this development is essentially related to the emotions of population as well as helps in trading and income generation with all around the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position that the availability of global food in supermarkets is a positive development. Main ideas are relevant, such as emotional comfort for immigrants and economic benefits through international trade. However, while the economic argument is introduced, it remains somewhat under-developed and relies on a simplistic example of India trading with China. The personal anecdote about finding guavas in Canada is well-explained, showing the connection to people's emotions. To reach higher bands, the writer needs to extend both main ideas more fully with deeper reasoning and broader examples rather than relying on brief explanations.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs focusing on distinct ideas, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate points. Cohesive devices are used to signal progression, such as 'First and foremost', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and cohesion are occasionally mechanical or slightly repetitive, and some transitional links feel a bit forced. To improve further, the writer should employ a wider range of cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure smoother transitions between sentences to create a more natural flow of ideas throughout the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to use less common items such as 'consumable items', 'exportation and importation', and 'globalization'. However, there are noticeable word-choice errors, collocations, and word-form slips throughout the text, such as writing 'different type' instead of 'different types', 'is not harvest here' instead of 'is not harvested here', 'more realted' instead of 'more related', and 'benfits to the financial economy' instead of 'benefits the financial economy'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they reflect a limited and somewhat inaccurate control of lexical features that keeps the score at this level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as relative clauses in 'every individual who are especially living away'. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'every individual who are', missing articles, preposition errors such as 'produced by all over the world' instead of 'produced all over the world', and punctuation issues including capitalization errors like 'i'. While these errors rarely completely obscure the message, they occur frequently enough to cause occasional difficulty for the reader and show that control over complex structures is still inconsistent.
