For example, in my hometown there are many indian markets which have indian spices and ready to make dishes. This great developement allowed us as kurds to experience a realistic indian dish which we may never get a chance to taste it in India as a country. Hence, such developement helped us to try different cusines and taste something which is a way different from our regular dishes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position that the global availability of food is a positive development. Relevant ideas are introduced, such as cultural understanding and economic benefits for farming families. However, some ideas remain slightly under-developed rather than fully extended. For instance, while the cultural aspect is illustrated with an example about Kurdish experiences with Indian spices, the economic impact is supported by more generalized assertions regarding farmers and workers. To reach the next higher band, the writer would need to ensure that all main ideas are consistently well-developed throughout the body paragraphs with deeper explanations and more precise examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion. Information and ideas are logically sequenced, moving smoothly from cultural benefits in the second paragraph to economic advantages in the third paragraph. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct main points. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'One of the main advantage' and 'Another positive imapct', though referencing and transitions can occasionally feel a bit mechanical. To achieve a higher band, the writer must ensure that cohesive devices are used more flexibly and fluidly without relying on formulaic transition patterns, creating a more natural progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'diversity', 'perspective', and 'establishments'. However, there are noticeable spelling errors, such as 'develpement', 'industury', 'imapct', and 'cusines', alongside occasional awkward word choices like 'brings a decent income'. While these lexical shortcomings and spelling mistakes do not seriously impede communication, they reflect the limits of the current band level. To progress, the student should expand their command of less common lexical items, improve precision in word choice and collocation, and eliminate repetitive spelling errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like relative clauses and conditional elements. There are some grammatical errors and punctuation slips present, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('ones who is working'), missing or incorrect articles ('a very interesting develpement'), and minor comma splices or lowercase capitalization at the start of conclusions ('i believe'). These errors rarely impede communication and the meaning remains clear. To move up to the next band, the writer needs to increase the proportion of error-free sentences when attempting complex structures and maintain tighter control over articles and subject-verb agreement.
