Student answer (Band 6.0)
Food has remained always a debate from recent years on the basis of security and availibility. With the advancements in technology, global trade has flourished significantly in terms of agriculture and food. In the following paragraphs, I am going to discuss several positive impacts of this develop towards global market and public ease.
Centuries ago, people were unaware of the impact of diet on their health and lifestyle. Today, when education has hitten it's maximum, people have become concious about their diet beacause they know their health status is represented by the food they eat. With the increasing demands of fortified and enriched food, global food trade has increased dramatically to import and export. People can now avail all the international food products from the grocery stores nearby. For example; Pakistan import certiain vit C enriched fruit juices from china to reduce the risk of Scurvy and to support connective tissue recovery.
Moreover, the global food export significantly contributes to a country's economy increasing the number agriculture and food industries. Farmers are now adapting biodiversification techniques to enrich the soils in which the plants are grown, to produce nutritional and worldly available food products to educe the econimical burden of import from their countries. For exmaple; several techniques have been used by Pakistan Agricultural sectr to grow avacados, a rich source of vitamins and minerals. This agricultural diverstification practice can reduce the total number of avacado imports annually.
At the end, technology in both, science and global tranportation, mutually contribute to the economy of a country in terms of food, nutrtion and agriculture making people to taste the food present all over the world. However, it is important for national governments to make various advanced agricultural strategies to grow all types of food in their own country to reduce the national economical burden caused by importing food products annually.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you view worldwide food availability as positive, while noting that governments should also strengthen domestic agriculture. You give relevant reasons, including consumer access to international products and possible economic benefits, and the examples of imported juice and locally grown avocados help make the discussion concrete. However, the response does not fully explain how access to food from many countries benefits consumers beyond nutrition, and the economic argument shifts between exporting food and reducing imports without clearly connecting these points. Some claims, such as the link between fortified products and increased global trade, also need clearer explanation. Develop each main reason with a direct explanation of its effect on consumers or society.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph. The ideas generally progress from consumer access to economic effects, and signposts such as “Moreover” and “At the end” help show the stages of the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence about food security does not lead smoothly into the stated position, while the second body paragraph moves from global exports to farmers’ soil practices and then to reducing avocado imports. The conclusion introduces a qualification that could be linked more explicitly to the positive position. Use clearer topic sentences and explain the relationship between each example and its paragraph’s main claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “fortified and enriched food,” “global food trade,” “agricultural diversification” and “economic burden.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice are noticeable and sometimes make the intended meaning less clear: “availibility,” “concious,” “biodiversification,” and “educe the econimical burden” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “education has hitten it's maximum” and “worldly available food products.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; using simpler, precise expressions is more effective than attempting an unfamiliar phrase without confidence.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “when,” “because” and “in which.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main ideas are generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with articles, verb forms and sentence construction. For example, “Pakistan import” needs subject–verb agreement, and “increasing the number agriculture and food industries” is missing grammatical elements. The opening phrase “Food has remained always a debate” is also awkwardly constructed, while the final sentence’s “making people to taste” uses an incorrect pattern. Review agreement, article use and verb patterns, then proofread longer sentences to ensure their clauses connect correctly.
