Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent decades, buyers are able to go to supermarkets to buy food produced among different nations and cities. I believe it is a positive development which i will discuss in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, there are several advantages behind this view. First and foremost, It gives an ability to people to commute to different countries to buy edible products by considering their own choices and prefrences. Moreover, it also give them chance to broaden their horizons. For example, if a person goes to buy food from different countries or cities, they will gain knowledge of different traditions and cultures. They can also explore different taste of the same food as every country does not make similiar recepies each country have their own taste and trying it can help people to know what kinds of spieces are used in it.
Furthermore, people can enjoy the variety of fruits and vegetables as many of things are only available in some countries, as we know there was very small amount of kiwi fruit available in india in past time but now, there are plenty of kiwi its just because of commuting. Commuting gives a chance to people to explore diffrent fruit and vegetables which are not available in their homecountry, so if a person goes to
different states, they can tell other people about the new type of food, they came to know, which will also help to make economy better.
Although exploring new things is good, relying properly on the international food will leads to loss of the farmers as if people are eating more internationally produced good this will eventually affects the popularity of local food.
To conclude, it is beneficial for people to travel to different countries and gain knowledge about different traditions and also give them chance to try new food, but heavily depending on internationally produced food will affect the economy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider worldwide food availability positive, while acknowledging that heavy reliance on imports may harm local farmers. The points about learning about other cultures and accessing fruits unavailable locally are relevant to the question. However, the discussion only partly develops the issue. The claim that buying imported food lets people “commute to different countries” confuses access to international products with travel, and the cultural-learning example is not fully explained. The concern about farmers appears briefly and is not balanced against the benefits in detail. To strengthen the response, explain how global food supply benefits consumers and give a more specific account of its effects on local producers, while keeping your position consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting benefits, a paragraph acknowledging a drawback, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “Although” help signal the direction of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long sentences, and the link between international food availability and “commuting” is unclear. Some references, such as “it” and “they,” do not always identify their subject precisely. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. Use shorter, clearly focused sentences and make each paragraph develop one main point with explicit links between cause and effect.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “internationally produced,” “traditions and cultures,” “local food,” and “economy,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. “Commute” is used for buying or importing food, although it normally refers to regular travel between home and work; “edible products” is also less natural here than “food products.” Spelling errors such as “prefrences,” “similiar,” “recepies,” and “diffrent” are noticeable, and repeated use of “different” limits precision. Build a more accurate range around food imports, availability, consumer choice, and local agriculture, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “Although exploring new things is good” and clauses introduced by “as” and “if.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages harder to follow. Examples include “it also give them chance,” “this will leads,” and “this will eventually affects,” where verb forms and agreement are incorrect. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “It gives an ability” is awkwardly formed, while the long sentence about recipes runs several ideas together without clear punctuation. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms after modal verbs, and sentence division. Aim for controlled complex sentences rather than joining many points into one.
