Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this modren age, people prefer to shop all the goods from supermarkets espacially food prodects. It is consider as an exellent way to buy goods in easy and fresh condition. In my opinion, it is a positive development because you dont want to find a fresh food. you only go to market and buy your fevourite items.
In past, you wanted to go for market and guess the condition of your desire item either it is fresh or not. However, nowadays, you only want to travel towards supermarket and buy your desure item after checking its expire date. For example, when i want to buy goods i want to supermarket and bought it without any problem. However, when my desire thing is out of the shok so i want to buy it from local market which is very difficult. First, i want to check the item when i feel some satisfaction then i buy it but I dont feel enough satisfaction after checking it with my will.
On the other hand, it contain job crises. If everyone start to buy the goods from supermarkets it will effect us economically because it make business develpment difficult. In addition, it close the ways for poors to became rich.Government should prefer local businesses by checking the quality of stok which is passing towards the local businesses.
In conclusion, it is a good habit to buy goods from a honest place but i dont prefer shopping from supermarkets every time. we should want to find a honest person who sale goods in an accessible prize and good quality.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear preference for supermarkets, saying they make it easier to obtain food, and you also recognise a possible disadvantage: pressure on local businesses. These points are relevant to whether worldwide supermarket food is a positive development. However, the response only partly addresses the specific issue of food produced all over the world; most examples concern shopping convenience, freshness, and local shops. The position also becomes less clear in the conclusion, where you say you do not prefer shopping at supermarkets every time. Develop the benefits and drawbacks of international food availability directly, and explain each with a specific reason or example. A consistent final judgement would make your response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different considerations, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “However,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal shifts in direction. Nevertheless, the progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, particularly in the second paragraph, where the account of checking an item’s condition and the personal example do not clearly build one argument. Some references, including “it” and “my desire thing,” are unclear, and the conclusion introduces the idea of buying from an “honest person” without linking it to the earlier discussion. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to shopping and business, including “supermarkets,” “expire date,” “local market,” “economically,” and “quality.” This gives you a basic range for discussing the topic. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and frequent spelling errors make parts of the response harder to understand: examples include “modren,” “prodects,” “desure,” and “develpment.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “fresh condition,” “business development difficult,” and “accessible prize.” Choose more precise expressions for the topic, such as “fresh produce,” “undermine local businesses,” and “affordable prices,” and check spelling carefully. This would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional idea beginning “If everyone start to buy…” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This shows an effort to connect clauses, but control is limited: errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “people prefer to shop all the goods” has an incorrect sentence pattern, while “If everyone start” needs subject–verb agreement and “it will effect us” has an inaccurate verb form. Tense shifts in “i want to supermarket and bought it” also disrupt meaning. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns, agreement, and consistent past or present tense before adding longer clauses. Use full stops and capital letters consistently to separate complete sentences.
