Student answer (Band 5.5)

There are many countries that export eatable products all around the world and eatable products are mostly import by supermarkets which are located in specific countries. The export can boom a country's wealth and its economy.Things that are mostly exported by countries are dairy product like butter, cheese, yougurt and milk and these things are imported by supermarkets from any country around the world.Let suppose, from Pakiastan sugar of different kinds, wheat and pink salts are most famous products which are imported by supermarkets in England,France,Germany and Spain.Exportation of these products play a great role in boomig of Pakistan's economy and it helps alot to produce work for farmers and salt miners. It also increase clients for supermarkets around the world.Lets suppose,if a client vists a supermarket and does not get product of will,it can gives a negative impact to supermarket.

On the other hand,if a client gets willing product from supermarket,it can gives a positive feedback to that supermarket.I think it is a positive development for countries and supermarkets that people buy food produced all over the world. There are many products which are not available in many countries around the world and they have to import that products to meet the need of people and products are mainly inported by supermarkets.Importing products from all over the world is not difficult and supermarkets just simply place order for that products which are most demanding by people. The most beneficial thing is that people do not need to visit different places in search of different products and they can just simply buy that prodcuts from supermarkets. In Europe, there are no export or import duties on Europien countires and they can import or export products withouit any taxes.

To conclude, imported products from all over the world are easily available to people and it is a positive development for any country and its people.Getting all needy products from one supermarket can save people time and their energy that can use by people in other essential tasks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you consider worldwide supermarket access to imported food a positive development, and you give relevant reasons, including greater choice, convenience, and benefits to exporting countries. The Pakistan example adds useful detail about farmers and salt miners, so the response addresses the question rather than merely describing trade. However, some points are less fully explained. For instance, the claim that imports “increase clients for supermarkets” is asserted without showing how this follows, and the discussion of European trade duties is not clearly connected to the overall judgement. To strengthen the response, develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or specific example, and keep the focus consistently on whether global food availability benefits consumers and society.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an overall progression: it introduces international food trade, gives reasons for viewing it positively, and ends with a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “To conclude” help signal movement between ideas. However, the first paragraph combines several points—export earnings, supermarket demand, and customer satisfaction—without clear separation, while the second paragraph moves from convenience to European taxes rather abruptly. Some connections are also repetitive, particularly the repeated references to supermarkets and products being imported. Use distinct paragraphs for the main reasons and connect each example directly to the point it supports. Clearer referencing and less mechanical transitions would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “exportation,” “economy,” “farmers,” “salt miners,” and “importing products,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or awkward choices make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “eatable products” for food, “clients” for supermarket customers, and “product of will” for a product someone wants. Spelling errors such as “yougurt,” “Pakiastan,” and “Europien” also reduce clarity. Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Learning phrases such as “a wider choice of food,” “consumer demand,” and “support local livelihoods” would help you express your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a client gets willing product,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, control is inconsistent, especially with subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and verb forms. For example, “Exportation … play” should use a singular verb, while “it can gives” should be “it can give.” The sentence beginning “There are many products which are not available” also contains an incorrect plural reference in “import that products.” Several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation, making relationships between ideas harder to identify. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
