Student answer (Band 5.5)

In majority of nations presently, globally produced food is accessible for buyers in supermarket. I believe it is beneficial enhancement because culture can be share among various nations and businessmen can make huge amount of money.

To begin with, I tend to think that this development with essential and advantageous for the people of various countries to share their traditional food with each other. This is because it spreads the stunning food of one country with others to show and provide them their local food. Additionally, citizens explore various varities of food taste and then rate it. For intance, Mango fruit is extremely popular in Pakistan and they export it into other nations, by which various countries know Pakistan only because of this single fruit.

Furthermore, it is very positive for the businessmen to export and import various food abroad and make a numerous amout of money. This is because the importers purchase different food cheaply in foreign country and then provide it expensive to their local inhabitants. For example, businessmen buy a container of Bananas by 1000 dollars in overseas and then sell it by 2500 dollars to their local people. In a result, they do extreme profit in it.

In conlusion, from my perspective, this enhancement could be adantageous for nations to exchange their culture with each other through various food to import and export. And businessmen are also looking for these kind of opportunities to avail and earn money as much as possible and make themselves wealthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you consider worldwide food availability beneficial, and you give two relevant reasons—cultural exchange and business profits. The mango example gives the first point some support, while the banana-container example illustrates the second. However, the response only partially develops the task: the cultural argument is mainly about people trying and rating food, and the business argument focuses on resale profit without explaining wider effects on consumers or communities. The claim that countries know Pakistan “only because of this single fruit” is also too broad to be convincing. To strengthen the response, explain each reason more fully and connect the examples directly to why this development is positive overall.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow this progression. This coherent structure meets the lower-band expectations, and the paragraphing is appropriate. To show more flexible control, reduce reliance on formulaic transitions and make the links between claims and examples more explicit. For instance, after the mango example, explain how access to imported food encourages cultural understanding; after the banana example, clarify why the profit matters to the overall argument. The conclusion also repeats the introduction rather than drawing the two points together.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “traditional food,” “export and import,” “importers,” and “local inhabitants,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less natural. Examples include “beneficial enhancement,” “share among various nations,” “a numerous amount of money,” and “do extreme profit.” There are also misspellings such as “varities,” “intance,” and “conlusion.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing international trade and cultural exchange, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using structures such as “This is because…” and “by which…,” but the range is limited and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors occur frequently in sentence construction and grammatical patterns. For example, “this development with essential” is missing a suitable verb, while “Mango fruit … and they export it” has unclear agreement and reference. In “purchase different food cheaply in foreign country,” articles and number are not controlled, and “sell it by 2500 dollars” uses an incorrect preposition in the price pattern. These errors can make some sentences difficult to process, although your overall meaning remains recoverable. Practise accurate clause construction, articles, agreement, and price expressions before adding more complex structures.
