Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a clear overall view that access to food from other countries is positive, and you mention two relevant benefits: consumers can try international foods and trade may support the economy. However, the response addresses the question only minimally. The economic point is repeated rather than explained, and the example about chocolate is too brief to show how this development benefits people. The statement that food can be stored for a long time is not clearly connected to the question. The response is also 87 words below the required minimum, leaving little room to develop reasons and examples. To strengthen your answer, explain each benefit with a specific example and add a developed counterpoint or further supporting reason.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to connect ideas using phrases such as “Furthermore,” “For Example,” and “on the other hand.” The reader can identify a general progression from the availability of international food to its possible benefits. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and several points run together, particularly in the long opening section. The final sentence repeats the claim about economic growth rather than providing a distinct conclusion. Some linking phrases do not show a clear relationship between the ideas; for instance, “on the other hand” introduces no contrasting point. Organise the response into an introduction, separate body paragraphs for each reason, and a conclusion, using links that accurately express addition, contrast, or result.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “supermarket,” “import and export,” “economy,” and “different countries,” so the main subject is generally recognisable. However, the vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with “produced food” and “food” appearing frequently. Several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “veraity,” “noddlies,” “increses,” and “the produced food.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “taste the other countries food they were made.” Aim to use more precise phrases for the topic, such as “international products,” “imported goods,” and “consumer choice,” and check spelling and collocations carefully. This would make your meaning easier to follow and give you more flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Your response mainly uses simple statements, with a few attempts to join ideas using “because” and “which.” However, the range of sentence structures is very limited, and frequent errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. For example, “I think is has a good development” is missing a subject and has an unclear structure, while “these food can import and export” does not form a correct verb pattern. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “Some people went to there local super market” and the run-on passage beginning “I think is has.” Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then combine them with clauses such as “because” or “which.” Check punctuation and agreement when editing.
