Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary world, there are numerous ways to get a desired product from anywhere while sitting anywhere no matter the product is manufactured in your own state or anywhere else in the world. But buyers can also rush to the markets or retail store and get a food produced worldwide.
From my perspective, it is not a fruitful foster. This easy will reveal that how this change in the modern world has affect on us. It has now become very comfortable for the individuals to go to a supermarket and grab the food which is not even seasonal and not even made in your own state. This is no doubt a negative development.
Firstly, food is something the has a great potent on an individual's body. Organs react on what you eat, therefore quality of your food decides either you become healthy or catch a food poisoning disease. But in today's supermarkets, we get reserved food. No doubt that it can be used but the food who was made in somewhere else in the world takes a lot of time to reach your destination. Thus, food loses its benefits and gets damaged sometimes. you will not get its original taste and vitamins.
Another major reason that supports my opinion is the quality of food manufacturing. Some countries have not cultivated or advanced technologies to make a reserved food. Products that are produced in such places may offer various health issued because they use dirty and low-quality technology.
However, fresh fruits and vegetables should always be grabbed from local market owing to they catch dirt more swiftly and become useful.
Consequently, it is the state's duty to provide the general populace with the products that are made in their own country owing to get refreshed food items from the supermarkets.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you consider worldwide supermarket food a negative development, and you give relevant reasons concerning freshness, nutritional value, and production standards. The response addresses the question and includes a concluding recommendation to favour domestic products. However, some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that food from abroad loses its benefits or becomes damaged during transport would be stronger with a specific example or a clearer explanation of how storage and transport affect it. The point about countries’ manufacturing technology is also broad and not fully connected to imported food generally. Develop each reason with a concrete example and acknowledge a possible benefit, such as greater choice, before explaining why the disadvantages outweigh it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to two supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Another major reason,” and “Consequently” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and some links are mechanical or unclear. The sentence beginning “However, fresh fruits and vegetables…” does not clearly support the preceding point, and its contrast with the argument is confusing. References such as “it” and “they” also leave the reader unsure which food or products you mean. Group related ideas more clearly, use pronouns with unmistakable references, and make the relationship between each example and your main position explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “seasonal,” “food poisoning,” “cultivated,” and “low-quality technology.” This shows an effort to discuss food quality and production rather than relying only on basic terms. However, several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts of the argument harder to understand, such as “not a fruitful foster,” “reserved food,” “health issued,” and “catch dirt more swiftly.” Some words are also used in unsuitable combinations, as in “great potent on an individual's body.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check word forms and spelling. Reusing a clear term such as “imported food” is preferable to choosing an inaccurate substitute.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “therefore,” “because,” and “owing to.” This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “the food who was made” uses an unsuitable relative pronoun, while “how this change … has affect on us” has an incorrect verb form and sentence construction. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “food is something the has” and the lowercase “you” after a full stop. Practise accurate clause formation and verb patterns, then proofread for agreement, articles, and punctuation. Clearer, shorter sentences would help you express the reasoning reliably.
