Student answer (Band 4.5)

In this contemporary world, production of ready made food in different region have become trend. Supermarket and enormous factories produced artificial food which are now being used for domestic purpose. Nowadays, consumers went to supermarket and bought food is a common practice, they even rely on such food which could easily be available. I believes that we enter in new era where many of consumers need these type of hugenic food which is preserved for a long time. However they have concerned about thier nutritional diet such as vitamins, minerals.

Nutritional existing food is one of the biggest source of energy that every one should take it. For example, if superstores keep those digestive items which have enormous amount of potentail ingredients could encourage people to buy. However in my perspective its a positive thing and should be emphasize to purchase these food. Scientific methods also help us to ensure make food in factories as well which contribute proper nutrition

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a position—“in my perspective its a positive thing”—and mention nutrition and the role of scientific methods, so the response is connected to the topic. However, the task asks whether access to food produced around the world is positive or negative, while much of your discussion shifts to ready-made or factory-produced food. The reasons are also only briefly introduced: the example about supermarkets stocking “digestive items” is unclear and does not explain how international availability benefits consumers. The response is substantially below the required 250 words, leaving the position and supporting ideas minimally developed. To improve, address global food choice directly, explain two relevant effects, and support each with a clear example before reaching your conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you introduce the topic, give a reason related to nutrition, and state your view. Linking words such as “For example” and “However” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the opening moves between ready-made food, factories, supermarket shopping, and nutritional concerns without showing how these points relate. “However” also introduces a positive opinion without a clear contrast, and the example does not clearly support the preceding claim. The response is very short and has no distinct, developed body paragraphs or conclusion. Group related points into paragraphs and use clear topic sentences, then make each example explicitly support the point it follows.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “nutritional diet,” “vitamins, minerals,” “preserved,” and “scientific methods.” This gives the response a basic range beyond everyday terms. However, several choices are inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the intended meaning difficult to understand: “hugenic food,” “digestive items,” and “potentail ingredients” do not communicate precise ideas in context. There are also spelling errors such as “thier” and “potentail,” and phrases such as “production of ready made food” are not well suited to the question about food from around the world. Build a more precise set of topic words—such as imported produce, food variety, availability, and nutritional value—and check spelling and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a sentence beginning “For example” and one using “which,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “production … have become” and “Supermarket and enormous factories produced,” while “I believes” and “every one should take it” also show problems with subject–verb agreement and sentence construction. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “for domestic purpose” and the missing space after “practice,”. The final sentence, “Scientific methods also help us to ensure make food,” is difficult to parse because the verb pattern is incomplete. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
