Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this contemporary world, production of readymade food in different region have become trend. Supermarket and enormous factories produced artificial food which are now being used for domestic purpose. Nowadays, consumers go to supermarket and to buy food is a common practice, they even rely on such food which could easily be available. I believes that we enter in new era where many of consumers need these type of hygienic food which is preserve for a long time. However they have concerned about their nutritional diet such as vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Nutrition existing food is one of the biggest source of energy that everyone should take it. For example, if superstores keep these digestive items which have enormous amount of ingredients that could encourage people to buy. However, in my perspective it’s a positive thing and should be emphasize to purchase these food. Scientific methods also help us to ensure make food in factories as well which contribute proper nutrition, along with they develop some strategies which could process food in less time. Nurishment in food industry arrange in such a way that it pack with a siutable polyethene and gives prolong preservation in stores.

In contrast, there is another negative point of view about this phenomenon which could not be ignore, that is bacterial attack on aliment. Plastic and some other precautions must be applicable on that mechanism of synthetic food, where there is least probability to get food into algae or infected or infected some other diseases. For example World Health Organization warns to general public via reports also in official articles that not to use much depend on supermarkets items food which leads to any ailment it can also cause malnutrition which is very dangerous for adults as well as young one.

To conclude, use of home made food comparatively more fibres and nutritional as comapred to produced those of food which synthesize by factories.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a position—“it’s a positive thing”—and acknowledge a possible disadvantage, so the response engages with the question. However, the discussion only partly addresses the specific development of access to food produced around the world. Much of the first two paragraphs shifts to factory-made, preserved or “artificial” food and its nutritional value, without explaining clearly how international availability benefits consumers. The positive case is also difficult to follow, while the warning about bacterial contamination and malnutrition is not supported with a clear explanation or reliable example. To strengthen the response, develop two directly relevant reasons, such as greater choice or year-round access, and explain each with a specific example. Keep your position clear as you weigh the disadvantages against the benefits.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable paragraph structure: an introduction, a positive discussion, a contrasting paragraph and a conclusion. Connectors such as “However,” “For example,” and “To conclude” help signal some relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the discussion moves from nutrition to factory processing and packaging without showing how each point supports the main argument. Some linking phrases are also awkward or do not express a clear contrast, and references such as “these food” and “that mechanism” make it hard to identify what is meant. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in sequence. Use fewer, more precise transitions and make pronoun references explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “nutritional diet,” “preservation,” “malnutrition” and “bacterial attack,” and you try to use less common terms. However, word choice and collocation are frequently inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “Nutrition existing food,” “digestive items,” “algae” in the context of food contamination, and “Nurishment in food industry arrange.” Spelling errors such as “comapred,” “siutable” and “prolong” also reduce clarity. Aim for accurate, familiar expressions before reaching for technical vocabulary: for instance, “nutrients in food,” “food products,” and “a longer shelf life.” Check spelling and whether each word fits its context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “which” and “where,” but control is inconsistent. Frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction can make ideas difficult to follow. For example, “production … have become trend” needs a singular verb and an article, while “I believes” and “factories produced” do not fit their subjects or intended tense. Several sentences join independent ideas with commas, as in “Nowadays, consumers go to supermarket …, they even rely on such food,” creating run-ons. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with one clear subordinate clause. Check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation when editing.
