Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, Buying all kind of food that produced all over the world is becoming incresingley common. This development has both positive and negative impact on their own.
One major advantage of buying food that produced all over the world is import and export services between countries. This is because, all countries exports thier business. For example, importing or exporting the foods, clothes, oil, manufacturing material and many more.As a result, now in indian supermarket we can buy Kiwi, dragonfruits from Australia. Another positive development is strong relation with all other countries. Since, this stong bond help each countries to maintain the peace with each other countires. The best example of this is, BRICS goverment. Where Brazil, Russia, India, China and South africas goverment created this to help each other in any situtations.
However, there are also some negative development. The main drawback is the high cost of certain products. This may lead to own countries produced product value low and exported products value goes high . For instance, People want to buy unique and expensive stuff for their family. They are not going to buy the simple and easily find items in their own country. Another negative development is high tarrif. When, countries knew what they are selling more they put the too much terrif on it and it becomes more expensive.
In conclusion, Buyer can go to any supermarket and buy the food even though it produce from any part of the world this is positive development. This offer several benefits such as more business, strong relation with other countries, but is also have negative developemnt, including high cost of living.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a clear final preference for this development, supported by examples such as imported fruit in Indian supermarkets and the BRICS group. However, the position is not fully consistent: the introduction says there are positive and negative impacts, while the conclusion calls the development positive without explaining why the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Some points are also only loosely connected to food availability. For example, the discussion of BRICS and international peace needs a clearer link to food trade, and the tariff point would benefit from a specific explanation of how it affects consumers. Develop fewer ideas in more detail and make your overall judgement explicit from the introduction onward.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “One major advantage” and “However” helps readers follow the broad direction. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first advantage paragraph moves from trade generally to fruit imports and then to BRICS without showing how each point connects to the central issue. Some linking phrases are awkward or incomplete, including “Since, this strong bond…” and “The best example of this is, BRICS government.” Referencing such as “this” and “it” is not always precise. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “importing or exporting,” “unique,” “tariff,” and “high cost,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts less clear, such as “all kind of food,” “strong relation,” “own countries produced product value,” and “high tarrif.” Repetition of “positive development,” “countries,” and “buy” also limits flexibility. Aim for more precise phrases for the effects of international food trade, and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, distinguish between a country’s domestic produce and imported goods, rather than using the unclear phrase “own countries produced product value.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple sentences and longer clauses, including “Since, this strong bond help each countries to maintain the peace…” and “When, countries knew what they are selling more…”. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. Examples include “food that produced” instead of a correctly formed passive clause, “all countries exports,” and “this is positive development.” Sentence fragments such as “Where Brazil, Russia, India, China and South africas goverment…” also interrupt the flow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and complete sentence construction. Build longer sentences from a clear main clause, then add a correctly connected reason or example.
