Student answer (Band 6.0)
In these modern world, people have the greater access or opportunities to consume anything produced from different part of the world, which was quite difficult in the past. I believe, this trend is a positive development because this avaibility of various product make both producer and consumer's life much easier and less stressful.
One of the major benefits of this trend is consumer have the full freedom to buy foods at their own choice. This would also help a consumer try different country's cuisine and make them feel connected to other country's culture. For instance, a person who is living abroad can find their country's product at the supermarkets, which make them to think less about their land. A consumer can also have the opportunities to explore the other country's lifestyle without even visiting them. Furthermore, if a supermarket have different categories of food, it would be easier for people to buy products according to their preferences, choice and money. As a result, people find it more interesting and exciting to shop.
On the other hand, it is also beneficial for producers and nations. Farmers could get their accurate earnings because of this rising demand. And, they feel more motivated and excited about growing crops and sell them in the global markets. In addition, the exporters also find it more helpful and support their country through generating profits. For this, government can help their farmers and exporters by introducing modern agricultural tools and better transportation systems. It will help to increase the production of foods and get enough international currency.
In conclusion, consumers and producers both get benefits because of the rapidly increasing food markets all over the world. If the goverment and authorities introduce some proper cultivation method and modern agricultural tools, it is inevitable that this trend will continue to increase significantly in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider worldwide supermarket food availability positive, and the conclusion restates that view. You address both consumers and producers, with relevant points about cultural familiarity, choice, farmers’ earnings and export profits. The example of people living abroad finding food from home helps illustrate the consumer benefit. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the link between international food sales and farmers receiving “accurate earnings” is unclear, and the proposed government support is not connected in detail to the main argument. Develop one or two examples more specifically to make the reasoning more convincing and consistently complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on consumer and producer benefits, and a conclusion. The progression from individual advantages to national economic effects is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, although the paragraph adds another positive point, and “For this” does not clearly identify what the government should respond to. There is also some repetition of “beneficial” ideas and “people” as subjects. Use transitions that reflect the actual relationship between points and make references more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “global markets,” “international currency,” “preferences,” and “agricultural tools,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts to express less familiar concepts, such as cultural connection and international trade. However, noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form and spelling problems reduce precision: “availability of various product,” “accurate earnings,” and “think less about their land” do not express the intended meanings naturally, while “avaibility” and “goverment” are misspelled. Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “helpful” and “beneficial.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations for trade and consumer choice, and check spelling and singular/plural forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “a person who is living abroad” and conditional structures such as “If a supermarket have different categories of food.” The overall meaning remains clear, but errors in agreement, articles, plurals and verb patterns occur across the response. For example, “people have the greater access” needs a different article construction, “a supermarket have” should agree in number, and “which make them to think” has problems with both agreement and the verb pattern. The sentence beginning “Farmers could get…” is also followed by a fragment beginning “And, they…”. Practise checking each clause for a clear subject and finite verb, and vary complex structures while keeping them accurate.
