Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays most of the countries struggling with their economy. According to the Government of various civilizations best way to enhance their financial condition is that selling their products on the international level. Therefore, they produce several kinds of food and export it to other nations. In such way, population from all over the world can get the desired product from the supermarket whether it is harvest in their land or not.
To initiate this discussion, half of the population stands with their positive effect. Crucial reason for this is that this will bring improvement in the health sector. Sometimes you suffer from such diseases and doctor prescribe you to eat beneficial things which is not cultivated in your own county.Consequently, international exchanges bring convenient in such cases where you can get things from the supermarket easily. For instance, last year i suffered from the brain disseas and doctor told me to eat blueberry. This fruit is not cultivated in Pakistan. So, accessing it from the supermaket is quite complex.
On the flip side of a coin, some civilians say that this is a negative development because importing from the other nations will effect their financial condition. Moreover, such products when came into the supermarket its cost is much higher due to the several taxes. For example, when i bought blueberry from the supermarket it was expensive.
According to my perspective, this is a positive enhancement. Because when you need anything you will easily access it from the market.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view in favour of international food availability, and the blueberry example from Pakistan is relevant to your point about access to foods that are not locally grown. You also acknowledge a counterargument about import costs. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the positive case is mainly about access for people with particular health needs, while the negative case is briefly asserted rather than explained. The claim that imports harm a country’s financial condition needs a clearer explanation, and the conclusion repeats your position without weighing the two sides. The response is also below the required 250 words. Develop both arguments with specific reasoning and examples, then state why your chosen side is more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting a positive view, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the flip side” help signal a change in direction. However, progression within and between ideas is limited, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “half of the population stands with their positive effect” does not clearly identify whose view is being described, while “According to my perspective” introduces a conclusion that largely repeats the opening position. Several sentences in the positive paragraph run together without adequate spacing or punctuation, making the reasoning harder to follow. Organise each body paragraph around one clear claim, explain it step by step, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “international level,” “importing,” “financial condition,” and “supermarket,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning unclear. Examples include “best way to enhance their financial condition,” “bring convenient,” and “positive enhancement.” There are also spelling errors such as “disseas,” “supermaket,” and “county,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural expressions and check spelling carefully; for instance, describe how imports “affect the domestic economy” rather than saying they “effect their financial condition.” Learning common collocations for trade, food availability, and consumer costs would make your argument more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including a relative clause in “things which is not cultivated in your own county.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors affect clarity. For example, “most of the countries struggling” lacks a finite verb, “doctor prescribe you” has subject–verb agreement and article problems, and “when came into the supermarket” has an incorrect verb form and missing subject. The sentence beginning “According to my perspective” is followed by a fragment: “Because when you need anything…” Punctuation and spacing also need attention, particularly where sentences run together. Practise building accurate sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and review agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries before adding complexity.
