Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays, in many countries citizen can go to a supermarket and purchase food produced all over the world. In my opinion, this is a developnment positive aspects because people can easily buy other country food, they donot need to go other countries and taste other culture food.
There are three main positive development. Firstly, people can easily purchase other countries. This is because they can taste different countries disuses. As a result, they can taste foren countries food in their own country. In additional, individuals can go to a shop and buy food produced all over the world. As a result they don't need to travel to eat other culture food because they can easily buy foren food in supermarket. For example some people go to France to eat their food but now they don,t need to travel because they can easily eat France food in their own cuntry.
However, many individuals like try to cook other country culture food, This is because they can buy the food on supermarkets and cook at home. As a result they can enjoy the food at home. For example Ali like to cook new and other countrirs culture food, they can buy the food on supermarket and cook the food at home.
In conclusion, people go to shop and buy food produced all over the world. In my opinion, this is a positive developnment espcially, enjoy culture food at home, cook different type of food and people donot need to go other country to try culture food

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a clear overall opinion that access to international food is positive, and you mention relevant benefits: tasting other cuisines and cooking them at home. However, the response develops these points only minimally, with repeated claims rather than explanation; for example, the France example repeats that people can eat the food at home but does not show a wider effect or provide much support. The paragraph beginning “However” introduces another positive point rather than a contrasting view, so the argument is not fully shaped. The response also falls 12 words short of the 250-word minimum; the 16 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To strengthen the response, explain each benefit more fully and add a specific, relevant example or consequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has a basic essay shape, with an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “However” and “In conclusion” help indicate stages. However, ideas are not consistently arranged into a clear line of argument. “However” suggests a contrast, but the following point about cooking international food at home supports the same positive position. Several sentences repeat the idea that people can buy foreign food without travelling, and links such as “As a result” do not always introduce a distinct consequence. The conclusion also lists points without clearly synthesising them. Group each separate benefit into a focused paragraph, use linking expressions only when their logical relationship is accurate, and make the progression from claim to explanation to example clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “purchase,” “supermarket,” “culture” and “travel,” and the reader can generally identify your main meaning. However, the range is limited and several word choices, forms and spellings make the writing less clear or natural. For instance, “taste different countries disuses” appears to mean cuisines, while “foren” and “cuntry” are misspelled, and “France food” is not a natural way to describe French cuisine. Repeated use of “food” and “buy” also limits precision. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; alternatives such as “international cuisine” and “locally available” would help express your ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, including a reason-and-result pattern in “This is because…” and “As a result…”. The main message is usually understandable, but the range of sentence structures is limited and errors occur frequently. Examples include missing or incorrect articles and plurals in “many countries citizen,” “other countries,” and “in supermarket,” as well as faulty sentence construction in “people can easily purchase other countries.” Subject–verb agreement and pronoun reference are also inconsistent, as in “Ali like” and “they can buy,” where the reference is unclear. Punctuation is sometimes missing or misplaced, particularly around examples and sentence boundaries. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add controlled complex clauses and proofread articles, agreement and punctuation.
