Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You clearly express a positive view, especially in the opening and conclusion, and your personal example about moving from Pakistan to America gives the response a relevant, individual perspective. However, the discussion only partly addresses the question because it focuses mainly on access to familiar food and clothing, while the prompt is specifically about food produced around the world. The clothing example, including the availability of Maria B dresses, does not directly support the central issue. Your reasons are also asserted more than explained: for instance, you say international availability makes travel easier, but do not develop how this benefits consumers or consider any drawbacks. Keep the positive position, but build it around food and explain each reason with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable overall direction: it presents a positive opinion, gives a personal example, and ends by restating the benefit of access to goods. However, ideas are crowded into long stretches with little clear paragraphing, so the reader has difficulty following the progression from travel and food to clothing and online shopping. Connections such as “so,” “but,” and “nowadays” are used, but they do not always make the relationship between points clear; the shift from food to Eid dresses is particularly abrupt. Some ideas are repeated, including the claim that people can get what they need everywhere. Organise the essay into distinct paragraphs and use each one to develop a separate reason linked directly to the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary connected with the topic and personal experience, including “travelling,” “latest designer dress,” and “comfortable.” However, the range is limited and several repeated general expressions, such as “get” and “things,” make the argument imprecise. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “possitive,” “counrty,” “fassion,” and “eassy,” which can make the reader pause. Some combinations are unnatural, such as “full of confidance” and “book extra luggage for our servival.” Aim to use more precise language about food availability and consumer choice, and check spelling carefully. For example, “access to imported products” would express the central idea more accurately than repeatedly saying people can “get” things.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example when describing your move from Pakistan to America and the difficulty of finding clothes. However, these extended sentences are often faulty or run together, and the limited control makes relationships between ideas unclear. Verb forms and tense are inconsistent: “I travelled” is followed by “I used to buy” and “I faced,” while “I have to re addjustment” does not form a correct grammatical structure. There are also problems with sentence boundaries, articles, and agreement, as in “we are even not worry.” Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then add a few controlled complex sentences using clear clauses and accurate tense choices.
