Student answer (Band 6.0)
In numerous nations these days, customers are now able to purchase the internationaly manufactured food in super markets. In my opinion, this is actually positive approach because individuals can buy different type of food items at one one place.
First of all, supermarkets can be beneficial for the people who prefer to eat foriegn food dishes. These individuals can easily purchase all types of food products at one place. So this development is really crucial for them. Furthermore, some people are really fond of preparing various foods at home. Before the supermarket facility they had to travel a lot to purchase food products like visiting foreign countries for these items. Therefore markets made this easy for them which can save their travel expenses. Consequently, now they pay less and they can easily acces to various food items.
Moreover, in past international food was so challenging to find. For instance, it was only available in few cities and price was higher than expected. That is why it was out of reach to low-income people. Now all consumers can easily obtain these products in affordable price. Although food products are accessible in big cities, people in rural areas are still unreachable. Amenity of food markets also provide several health benefits due to the fact, most of the food produced in developed countries are particularly health friendly. Hence people in developing countries can enjoy special nutritional food in their own country.
In conclusion, from my perspective, supermarket facility has provide numerous advantages because food is particularly healthy and contain all essential nutrients. It can also reduce travel expensives, and most importantly internationaly prepared food is mostly budget friendly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider worldwide food availability a positive development, and the conclusion restates this view. You give relevant reasons, including easier access to foreign dishes, reduced travel costs, and improved affordability compared with the past. This covers the task well, and the examples about low-income consumers and rural access add some breadth. However, several claims are asserted rather than explained: for example, the claim that food from developed countries is especially healthy is broad and unsupported, and the rural-access point is introduced but not connected to your overall judgement. To strengthen the response further, develop each reason with a specific explanation or example and acknowledge a limitation before explaining why the benefits still outweigh it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from convenience to affordability and health. Linking expressions such as “First of all,” “Furthermore,” “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help signal this progression. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is occasionally unclear. For instance, the sentence about rural residents being “still unreachable” interrupts the discussion of affordability, while the following health claim shifts topic without a clear transition. The conclusion also repeats several points rather than synthesising them. Group related benefits together, use clearer references to show how each sentence follows from the previous one, and make paragraph focus more consistent.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “international food,” “low-income people,” “nutritional” and “travel expenses,” and your meaning is generally understandable. There are also attempts at less common phrasing, such as “out of reach.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which limits precision: “internationally manufactured food” is not a natural description of food from other countries, and “accessible in affordable price” is awkward. Several spelling errors, including “internationaly,” “foriegn” and “expensives,” are noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for availability, affordability and imported products would help express your ideas clearly without relying repeatedly on “food products” and “easily.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although” and “which,” so there is some variety. Most of the main ideas remain understandable, but errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms occur across the response. Examples include “different type of food items,” “Before the supermarket facility they had to travel,” and “supermarket facility has provide”; these show problems with number, article use and verb form. Some punctuation also makes sentences run together, as in “food dishes. These individuals” and “items.Therefore.” To improve, check subject–verb agreement and verb tense, use articles and plurals consistently, and separate sentences with appropriate punctuation. Building a few accurate complex sentences is more effective than adding clauses that are not fully controlled.
