Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, find different food produced all over world become very easier and popular and this conception allow consumer's buy this food from suppermarket.
in my opinion is positive development in many countries.
Regarding, when people can go to supermarket and buy food produced in other countries it's good thing for them because this option can help people save money for example they not need to travel or recommend products online especially food manufacturing in the other's country thay can find all products in the near supermarket therefore, firstly they save money of transport secondly save time.
Another important point to consider is that development is positive due to consumer's have big choice's of food for example there are vegetables or fruit's in Asia there are not in Africa for example many different kind of fruits not growing here Algeria such as Manga and avocado the climate conditions not better for thus type of fruits another clear and popular example the rice we know this food especially related with asiatic countries like china, japan and south Korea, consequently, recently many people's rice is important in many recipes and for diet and we can't make Tiramisu without mascarpone this cheese produced in Italy but currently there are in supermarket.
In conclusion, this positive developpement allow consumer's to use new recipes from other countries and discover several ingredients without suffer to transport or travel over word to buy or try new flavours as result many people benefit from it because have positive feedback.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you consider worldwide supermarket food a positive development, and you give relevant reasons, including saving travel costs and gaining access to a wider range of ingredients. The examples of mangoes, avocados, rice and mascarpone help illustrate the variety available. The response addresses the question, but the reasons are not developed equally. The cost-saving point is asserted rather than explained in detail, and the discussion of international foods sometimes becomes a list rather than showing fully how this availability benefits consumers. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason with a clearer chain of cause and effect, and make the examples more precise and directly connected to your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two supporting points and a conclusion. The reader can follow the broad progression from convenience to greater choice, and phrases such as “Another important point” signal a new idea. However, the body paragraphs contain several points joined into long, crowded sentences, so relationships between examples and claims are not always clear. Connectors such as “therefore,” “firstly” and “consequently” are sometimes used mechanically or where the logical link needs clarification. The conclusion also introduces recipes and flavours without clearly summarising the two main reasons. Use one central claim per paragraph, separate examples into shorter sentences, and make each linking phrase express the precise relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “climate conditions,” “ingredients,” “recipes” and “transport,” and you attempt to express ideas about availability and consumer choice. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “this conception” is not a natural way to refer to the development, “big choices of food” is awkward, and “asiatic countries” is not the appropriate term. There are also spelling errors such as “suppermarket,” “developpement” and “word” where “world” is intended. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, so there is some variety in structure. Nevertheless, many sentences contain errors in basic sentence formation, agreement, articles and verb forms, and the longer constructions are often difficult to follow. For instance, “in my opinion is positive development” lacks a subject and article, while “this option can help people save money … they not need to travel” does not form a correct clause. The sentence beginning “Another important point to consider” also combines several ideas without reliable grammatical control. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; check articles, plural forms and punctuation when editing.
