Student answer (Band 5.0)

In numerous nations nowadays, people can easily acceccable for different items that are produced all over the world. I strongly believed that it has positive impacts over modern development. Many individuals will have now has different taste over multiple items.

One major reason is that now people will explore different and unique stuffs from other nations .This is only possible because of modern machines and unique techniques. For example, Sri lanka is the nation wich produced many ratio of the tea as compared to all the world, as we have many nation that naturally suited for their food. Consequently, moderanization has a great impact on today's facilities. If we people using different items related to food is only possible because of advancement.

Another positive impact of this development is to raised the awareness of such stuff and items that are lack in some countries . For example , in many countries they are full from that resourse and wasting with the passage of time , if we people contribute and share the items with other nations it will not only fulfils our economic need but also will familiar that nation also from different items, as a result it will enhance positive impact on the specific country.

if we sum our discussion, we can say that new items will explore different and unique stuffs and will also make awareness of such precious items that are too expensive in several countries it will boost economic ratio if the coutry facing that problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear overall view in favour of international food availability, and both body paragraphs attempt to give reasons: access to distinctive products and sharing goods between countries. However, the response only partially develops the task. The first example about Sri Lankan tea is difficult to connect to the claim about consumers’ choices, while the second paragraph shifts towards economic needs and awareness without explaining these effects clearly. The conclusion repeats the general benefits rather than drawing together developed reasons. To strengthen the response, explain how global supermarket choices benefit consumers—for example, through year-round access, greater variety, or competition—and support each point with a specific, clearly linked example. Keep the positive position explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding sentence. Phrases such as “One major reason” and “Another positive impact” help signal the main points, so the reader can identify the intended organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the discussion moves from exploring products to machines, tea production and modernization without clearly showing how each idea connects. The second example is also a long, loosely connected sentence, and the conclusion repeats earlier wording. Use one central claim per paragraph, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence. More precise referencing and simpler links between sentences would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unique,” “awareness,” “economic need” and “advancement.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms make the meaning unclear, such as “different taste over multiple items,” “ratio of the tea,” “full from that resourse,” and “boost economic ratio.” Repetition of “items,” “different” and “positive impact” also limits precision. Spelling errors such as “accecable,” “wich,” “moderanization” and “coutry” further affect clarity. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations. For instance, describe “a wider range of imported foods” and explain that trade can “support local economies” rather than using unclear phrases about ratios.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There are attempts to use longer sentences and clauses, including “because of modern machines” and “if we people contribute and share the items with other nations.” However, control is weak across both simple and complex structures, and frequent errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to understand. Examples include “I strongly believed that it has,” “people will have now has,” “is to raised,” and “if we people using.” These show problems with verb forms, tense consistency and sentence construction. Some sentences also run together, particularly in the second body paragraph and conclusion. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with correct verb forms. Check each sentence for a clear subject and a finite verb.
