Student answer (Band 5.5)
In present time, planty of nations consumers can visit supermarket and buy food produced all over the continents. In my perception it is positive development rather then negative, My inclination is justify both the aspects with appropriate examples describe in paragraphs.
To begin with, One primary reason I consider this trend to be positive is that people can access different kind of food veriety from other countries at one super market. Moreover, this is because significant number of peoples willing to try different kind of food stuff such as spices from india, pizza materials from italy and many more from other nations. As a result, This veriety can make people's diets more intresting and can also introduce them to nutritios food that may not be available locally.
However, This are having some negative development is that long supplies of food can cause carbon emission and contribute to environmental problem. Moreover, while citizens purchased food items, which is being prepared worldwide, leads to decresded global economy of home country. This is due to the fact that, most of the person are buying outside things, which could not retain the native money. For instance, Kit-Kat chocolate brand are consumed by most of the non-native people instead of traditonal sweatners.
In conclusion, although international food supply can affect environment badly. However, it provides opportunity of explore different source of food as well as easy to access various continents taste at one place. Therefore, i believe that a postive trend is greater than its negative development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that international food availability is positive, and you address both benefits and drawbacks. The variety of foods and the environmental impact are relevant points, with examples such as spices from India and pizza ingredients from Italy. However, several ideas are only briefly explained: the claim that imported purchases weaken the home economy is unclear, and the Kit-Kat example does not convincingly show this effect. The conclusion repeats your position but does not resolve the competing points in much detail. The response is 243 words, seven words below the 250-word minimum; the eight words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation and a more directly relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader identify the main stages of your argument, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “In conclusion” show intended relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. For example, the link between buying imported products and “decreased global economy of home country” is not clearly established, while the Kit-Kat example does not make the point easier to understand. Some transitions are also mechanical or contradictory: “although” and “However” are used together in the conclusion. Use clearer links between claim, explanation, and example, and avoid repeating transition words.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “carbon emission,” “environmental problem,” “diets,” and “native money,” and you attempt to express ideas about international food and consumer choice. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response less clear, such as “planty,” “veriety,” “intresting,” and “traditonal sweatners.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “food veriety,” “pizza materials,” and “easy to access various continents taste.” These issues sometimes require the reader to infer your intended meaning. Build accuracy with common topic collocations, such as “a variety of foods,” “ingredients,” and “local economy,” and check spelling carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “This is because” and a relative clause in “food items, which is being prepared worldwide.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “This are having some negative development,” “significant number of peoples willing,” and “Kit-Kat chocolate brand are consumed,” where agreement and sentence construction are problematic. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “it is positive development” and the run-on opening where two sentences are joined without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
