Student answer (Band 5.5)

In contemproray world it is getting more easier to purchase different kind of food, despite leave your home or even the city. It is so comfortable for consumers and even better for sellers. I strongly agree that wide options for consumers have more advantages rather than disadvantages. I try to explain from my perspective this issue.

First main reason is wide option to buy new things. For example, you can compare some pruducs like cosmatics, digital devices or even toys for children. It is well know fact that scandinavian countries have high quality toys for children. For example when i was in Finlad 1 years ago i bought one beautiful wood toy which was made 100 % natural ingredients. I was calm because i did not have fear that my niece was in a danger, because little children tend to eat or taste many different things. After some months ago i have heard that those company is presented in Georgia so i was glad . It makes me more confident and cheerful to buy what i like despite leaving the country.

The second significant factor is conected to financial outcomes. Today not everyone has ability to exolore new things and travel around the world. One of the best way to explore new things with low budget is to try new countries's dishes, for example Asian, African and so on. This service makes easier people to make new reciepts at home. For example me and friends celebrated evening so we hade made some sushi togather. Making proces was not easy but we had low baudget and we were enthisiastic to do it. This approach makes people more confident, makes them relax, because it is so relaxing.

In conclusion i see wide advantages rather than disadvantages. It is more convinient and help people to choose what kind of products they want to try or buy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you consider worldwide food availability a positive development, and you give two reasons—greater choice and the chance to try international dishes affordably. The examples about buying a wooden toy in Finland and making sushi with friends help illustrate your points, but the first example is about toys rather than food, so it does not directly support this task. The second paragraph is more relevant, though it focuses mainly on trying recipes and does not explain broader benefits or possible drawbacks of imported food. To strengthen the response, keep each example closely tied to food and develop the effects of global availability, such as convenience, cultural exchange, or access to seasonal products. This would make the argument more fully addressed and supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “First main reason,” “The second significant factor,” and “In conclusion” makes the overall direction easy to follow. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes loose: the discussion shifts from food to cosmetics, devices, and toys, then to a personal purchase in Finland. Some links are also repetitive or unclear, particularly the repeated “For example” and the final claims that the approach makes people “more confident” and “relax.” Use topic sentences that directly state each food-related benefit, then connect each example explicitly to that claim. Clearer referencing and less mechanical linking would make the organisation more effective.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “consumers,” “financial outcomes,” “dishes,” and “budget,” and you attempt to express ideas about choice and convenience. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less precise, for example “conect(ed),” “reciepts,” and “convinient.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “wide options” and “new countries’s dishes.” Choose more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For this topic, expressions such as “a wider selection of imported food,” “international cuisine,” and “affordable ingredients” would help you explain your ideas more clearly and avoid relying on general phrases like “new things.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason-and-example structure and clauses beginning with “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, tense, and articles sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “despite leave your home” does not form a correct clause, while “those company is presented” has problems with number and verb form. In “Today not everyone has ability,” an article is needed, and the sentence about making sushi contains several clauses joined without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate complex sentences with “although,” “because,” and “which,” and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries during revision.
