In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.
According to me it is a positive development because citizens are getting everything under one roof. but also there are some drawbacks that people reduced travelling from one place to another as well as reduced the exploration of people, so it reduces the the interest of citizens for instance if we need to buy food we could find it in a supermarket very easily. also we can find various di

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
You state a clear overall view—“it is a positive development”—and briefly mention a possible drawback, so the response does engage with the question. However, the discussion is extremely limited: the benefit of finding food “under one roof” is not explained, and the drawback about reduced travel and exploration is unclear and not convincingly connected to global food availability. The example only repeats that food is easy to find in a supermarket. The response also contains 70 words, which is 180 words below the required minimum; 18 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. This leaves the position and supporting ideas minimally developed. To improve, explain several specific effects, support them with relevant examples, and develop both your main view and any counterpoint.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is a basic line of thought: you give your opinion, introduce a drawback, and offer an example. The linking expressions “but also,” “so,” and “for instance” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the response is presented as one unfinished paragraph, and the relationships between points are difficult to follow. For example, the claim that supermarket access reduces “the exploration of people” is not clearly explained, while “so it reduces the interest” has an uncertain reference. The final phrase, “also we can find various di,” is incomplete and leaves the response without a conclusion. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and make each linking phrase express a clear relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “consumers,” “supermarket,” “drawbacks,” and “exploration,” and the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is narrow and several expressions are imprecise or repetitive. “Getting everything under one roof” is understandable but informal, while “reduced travelling” and “reduced the exploration of people” do not clearly express the intended effects. The unfinished phrase “various di” also prevents the reader from seeing what range of food you meant to describe. Aim for precise topic vocabulary and natural collocations, such as “access to international products,” “a wider choice of food,” and “local producers.” Check that each word accurately conveys your point.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to combine ideas using “because,” “but,” and “so,” and the opening opinion is understandable. However, sentence control is inconsistent, and the response relies mainly on a long, loosely connected sentence rather than showing a range of well-controlled structures. In “but also there are some drawbacks that people reduced travelling,” the clause structure and verb form are faulty; “people reduced” does not clearly express the intended meaning. The lowercase “but” after a full stop and the repeated “the the” also show punctuation and editing problems. The final sentence is incomplete. Practise writing complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and use full stops to separate distinct ideas before attempting longer sentences.
