Student answer (Band 5.5)
At present, a signinficant number of countries consumer go to supermarket in person and purchase food produced around the world. I strongly believe that this is a positive thing because it is not only saves consumer time but also gets chance to buy variety of others country product.
To begin with, saving time is the main reason of go to supermarket. Supermarket is such kinds of shop, where all kinds of product are available, such as vegetables, meat, fish, rice, cloth etc. As a result, buyers can buy their products easily beacause they do not need to go anywhere. For instance, If customers need grocery item and clothing items at a same time, they can purchase these items at supershop.
Moreover, getting oppurtunities to avail foreign countries product is the another positive aspect for going to multishop. A supershop take several countries item at their stock list and they will showcase it in different ways, where all the people easily find out their suitable product. As a result, individuals get a chance to purchase not only own countries elements but also international one. For instance, a recent survey conducted by Rokomary.com showed that a Bangladeshi multishop called Swapno, displays 50000 of local and foreign items at their stock list.
In conclusion, from my perspective going to multishop and buy home and foreign countries product is a positive development because it helps consumer to save their time and provide chance to purchase variety of products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you consider international food availability a positive development, and you give reasons related to convenience and access to foreign products. The supermarket example from Bangladesh is relevant, but it mainly illustrates the range of goods rather than explaining the benefits of food from around the world. The response only partially addresses the specific topic because much of the discussion shifts to supermarkets selling clothing and other products, and the time-saving point is not clearly connected to buying globally produced food. The response is also six words below the required minimum. Develop the food-related benefits more fully—for example, year-round access to seasonal produce or greater consumer choice—and support each point with a directly relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To begin with” and “Moreover,” and a concluding paragraph. This makes the overall arrangement coherent, and the reader can follow the two main reasons. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes mechanical: “As a result” is used repeatedly, and the examples do not always clearly support the point about internationally produced food. References such as “they” in “they will showcase it” are not fully clear, while “multishop” and “supershop” are used inconsistently for the same idea. Improve cohesion by making each paragraph develop one food-related reason, using clearer references, and linking examples explicitly to the claim they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “consumers,” “purchase,” “foreign countries product,” and “international,” and the meaning is generally recoverable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the message less clear. Examples include “a signinficant number of countries consumer,” “getting oppurtunities to avail,” “multishop,” and “at their stock list.” Spelling errors such as “beacause” and “oppurtunities” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural, precise phrases such as “consumers in many countries,” “the opportunity to buy,” and “stock a wide range of products.” Using vocabulary specifically about food, such as “imported produce” and “seasonal ingredients,” would also make the response more focused.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. For example, “it is not only saves consumer time” has an incorrect verb construction, while “A supershop take” has subject–verb disagreement. Articles and sentence patterns are also problematic in “at a same time” and “the another positive aspect.” Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then extend them with subordinate clauses. Check agreement, articles, and verb forms carefully; for instance, write “it not only saves consumers time” and “a supermarket stocks products from several countries.”
