Student answer (Band 4.5)
This is a modern era, and everyony in the world need to buy many things and goods for their daily life. This eassy invites us a breif dicsussion on consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food items. i think it's a positive developement, i shall discuss the some of it's advantages.
As food is the most impostant part of our life, we have to eat food for living a healthy life. As the population of the world increase the importance of the food also increase, and many people make their own supermarket and people started visit thier to buy food item. A supermarket contain the each and evey things of a daily life use, a vistor can buy every thing which he wants. For instance, if people need some cakes and cookies simple they go supermaket and buy it. It's a very positive developement bacause supermaket provides everything which is a basic and exterme need of any indivisual person.
As private supermarkets are some costy no any indivisua person can go there and buy the necessities of life. Government sholud also shift their focus on this side and onpen some more supermarket so it can access any indivisual person. for example, if government onper some utility stores and supermakets it must be prove beneficial for the government.
In my openion, go to supermarket and buy goods is a very positive development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a clear view that access to internationally produced food is positive, and you give examples involving supermarkets and utility stores. However, the response does not adequately address the specific issue of food from all over the world: most of the discussion is about supermarkets selling everyday goods, cakes and cookies, rather than the benefits or drawbacks of imported food. The points about population growth and government stores are also unclear or insufficiently explained, so the position is supported only by limited, under-developed ideas. The response contains 224 words, below the required 250; the nine words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To strengthen the answer, explain how global food choice benefits consumers and support that point with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The opinion is stated at the beginning and repeated at the end, which gives the essay a recognisable overall shape. However, progression between ideas is weak. The discussion moves from food and population growth to supermarket contents, then to private costs and government stores without clearly showing how each point supports the view about food produced worldwide. Linking phrases such as “For instance” and “In my opinion” are present, but connections are often mechanical or unclear. For example, the government-store paragraph does not explain how it relates to the main argument. Organise each body paragraph around one relevant reason and use clear references to connect examples to that reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “supermarket,” “necessities of life,” “population” and “positive development,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise: “buy food item,” “everything which he wants” and “basic and extreme need” do not express the ideas naturally. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “eassy,” “developement,” “supermaket” and “indivisua,” which reduce accuracy and polish. Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, distinguish “imported food” from general “goods,” and use natural collocations such as “a wider choice of products” or “meet basic needs.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if government onper some utility stores … it must be prove beneficial.” The main message is usually understandable, but errors in sentence structure and grammar occur frequently. Examples include “everyony … need,” where the subject and verb do not agree, “As the population … increase,” and “a vistor can buy every thing which he wants,” which has problems with articles, agreement and sentence construction. Some clauses are joined with commas rather than being clearly separated, as in the sentence beginning “As the population of the world increase.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms, and build complex sentences with clear clause boundaries. Proofreading for punctuation will also improve readability.
