Student answer (Band 4.5)
In my counteries indiviuals nowdays, users can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world. In my perspective that is a positive development because they saw all their groceries shops in this supermarket which is very helpful for them.
First of all, there is a huge difference between a simple grocery shop and market like the supermarket style, their gorgeous ambience interacting the users. Customers can take everthing easly in supermarket for instance they can buy dry fruits, vegetables and fruits that is very helpful for them. On the other hand, when they go for grocceries their all items in their near simple shop whose only fruit or dry item sell. That is very difficult for them they go one by one all the shops and take their items they become tired.
Secondly, supermarkets give you new idea for future you will see how the future items will come to in this supermarket which is very new and very advanced for all the customers. Supermarket gives you a fresh and clean items that you want. We see that many community orderd their food and other items from online apps. When the food and other items arrives they feel embaressed because the items is totally different that they orderd.
In conclusion, supermarket is very necessary for us because we take our all items in this supermarket which is very helpful for us and we are toch ,seen their items and smelled them that item is fresh or expire.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear view that access to international food is positive, and you give relevant reasons about convenience and being able to inspect food before buying. However, the discussion only partly addresses the specific development: much of the response describes supermarkets generally, rather than explaining the benefits or drawbacks of food sourced worldwide. The point about online orders is relevant to checking products, but its connection to international food is not made clear, and examples are not developed. The response is also 238 words, below the required 250; the 13 words copied from the prompt are not counted. To strengthen the answer, explain how global availability affects choice, prices, or access to seasonal foods, and support each point with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs introduced by “First of all” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of organisation, and the main position is repeated at the end. However, progression is limited because the paragraphs move between supermarket convenience, store ambience, future products, and online ordering without clearly linking these points to the central question. Some connections are unclear, such as “On the other hand” introducing a comparison that is not fully explained. Repetition of “supermarket” and “helpful” also makes the flow mechanical. Group related ideas together and use clearer links to show how each reason supports your view.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “groceries,” “customers,” “fresh,” and “items,” so the general topic is understandable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts difficult to interpret: “counteries,” “indiviu als,” “everthing,” “easly,” and “grocceries.” Phrases such as “their gorgeous ambience interacting the users” and “new idea for future” do not express the intended meaning naturally. Aim for precise vocabulary connected to the question, such as “international products,” “wider choice,” and “inspect the produce.” Check spelling and collocations, and avoid repeating “items” when a more specific noun would clarify your point.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response is generally recognisable despite frequent grammatical errors. However, sentence structures are limited, and errors often make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “In my perspective that is a positive development because they saw all their groceries shops” has an unclear subject and verb form; “the items is totally different that they orderd” also has problems with agreement and clause structure. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries need attention, as in “Supermarket gives you a fresh and clean items.” Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then add one supporting clause at a time. Review agreement, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
