Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you consider access to international food and large supermarkets a positive development. The personal example about searching for a book and now finding many goods in one mall gives the response a relevant, concrete detail. However, the discussion only partly addresses the specific issue of food produced around the world. Most of the explanation focuses on convenience and shopping malls generally, and the book example does not directly support the benefits of globally sourced food. The final point about saving time is also left unfinished, while other possible effects, such as greater choice or year-round access to foods, are not developed. Keep your positive position, but explain and support reasons that directly answer the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a basic overall sequence: you state your opinion, refer to changes in your city, and give a personal example. This helps the reader identify your main point. However, the response is presented as one long, loosely connected block, so the stages of the argument are not clearly separated. Connectors such as “but now” and “because of this” are used, but relationships between ideas are sometimes unclear, and the repeated references to “one place” make progression feel circular. The long sentence beginning “when the shopping malls and big supermarket was not in my own city” contains several ideas that would be easier to follow if divided. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and example, with clear links between them.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small set of relevant words to communicate your view, including “positive development,” “difficulties,” “facilities,” and “save their time.” The list of goods—“food products,” “clothes,” “perfumes,” and electronic items—also makes your example specific. However, vocabulary is limited and repetitive, especially “things,” “buy,” and “one place,” and several spelling or word-choice errors make parts less clear, such as “countires,” “knoweldge,” and “shopping malls are bulid.” Some phrases are not natural in this context, including “too much positive development” and “all their needs what they want.” Build a more precise range for the topic, such as “imported produce,” “wider choice,” and “convenient access,” and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “when,” and the reader can generally understand your main opinion. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and these longer attempts often contain frequent errors that make the argument difficult to follow. Examples include “people have to face to much difficulties too buy,” “the shopping malls and big supermarket was,” and “i have to face,” where verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction are not controlled. Missing or inconsistent punctuation and capitalisation also obscure sentence boundaries. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement, past-tense forms in your personal story, articles, and full stops.
