In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.

Student answer (Band 7.0)
In present era, customers in most of the countries can purchase eatables imported from all over the world which are readily available in supermarkets. I strongly believe that it is a positive aspect of developed world because people can enjoy a vast variety of products which are locally unavailable.
There are certain edible mushrooms that are found in specifics areas of the world. These have been studied to determine their efficacy in providing a nutritional support for people suffering from nutritional deficiencies. If they are kept restrictied to a specific land, people all around the world will not be able to take the benefit. Similarly, a lot of non-native fruits are being imported and exported so that local people can have a different taste.
There was a time when a person could only wish to eat famous foods from other countries but nowadays it is possible only because of the modernisation of shipping network and food preservation techniques. In the past, the most difficult task was importing meat and fish, but today specialized containers are manufactured which can preserve meat for months. Similary, canned and ready to eat products are also easily accessible. So, if you learn a new recipe from a foreign cuisine and need exact type of spice, essense or a flavour, you can simply go to the market and purchase your desired item.
In conclusion, food from all over the world is easily available in super markets to be bought by customers. This is a one of the best aspect of the modern world as it provides access to the beneficial products that are not available locally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider global food availability positive because it gives people access to products unavailable locally. The body paragraphs support this view with relevant examples, including imported mushrooms and fruits, improved shipping and preservation, and ingredients for foreign recipes. This addresses the question and gives the reader a clear line of argument. To strengthen the response further, develop the examples more explicitly: explain how the mushrooms benefit people beyond saying they provide nutritional support, and connect the shipping discussion more directly to the wider positive effects on consumers. The conclusion restates your view, though it could synthesise the main reasons rather than repeat the general claim.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay has a clear four-paragraph structure, and its progression is easy to follow: it introduces the position, gives examples of imported foods, explains how availability has become possible, and concludes by reaffirming the view. Linking expressions such as “Similarly,” “In the past,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. The examples generally sit in a logical order within each paragraph. To make the organisation more polished, use clearer links between the mushroom example and the point about non-native fruits, and avoid relying mainly on explicit transition words. Some sentences in the third paragraph move quickly from preservation technology to recipes; a brief explanation of how this supports consumer choice would make the progression more seamless.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “nutritional deficiencies,” “modernisation of shipping network,” “food preservation techniques,” and “foreign cuisine.” These choices help explain the topic and show some ability to use less common language. Meaning remains clear, but several word choices, collocations, and spelling forms are not fully natural: “eatables,” “specifics areas,” “restrictied,” “Similary,” and “essense” weaken precision. Phrases such as “a nutritional support” and “a different taste” could also be expressed more idiomatically. To move higher, prioritise accurate collocations and spelling, and choose precise terms such as “food products” or “nutritional benefits” rather than less natural alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If they are kept … people … will not be able to take the benefit” and a relative clause in “products that are not available locally.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, and the argument is generally easy to understand. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with articles, agreement, and sentence construction: “a nutritional support” needs a different article pattern, “a lot of non-native fruits are being imported and exported so that local people can have a different taste” is awkwardly constructed, and “This is a one of the best aspect” contains errors in article use and number agreement. Review these patterns and check punctuation and sentence boundaries to improve accuracy.
