Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear positive opinion and provide two relevant reasons: access to foods from other countries and the availability of some produce throughout the year. The examples about Pakistani consumers help connect the ideas to a specific context. However, the response addresses the task only partially because both reasons are briefly stated rather than explained with enough detail, and the discussion does not consider the development in much depth. The second point, for instance, says imported fruit is helpful for families but does not explain its wider benefit or give a specific example. The response is also 93 words below the required minimum, which limits the opportunity to develop and support your position. Extend each reason with explanation and a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic, understandable structure: an introduction states your view, followed by two paragraphs presenting supporting reasons. Sequencing phrases such as “First” and “Secoundly” make the main points easy to identify. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and several ideas are repeated, particularly the references to trying foods and enjoying fruit in every season. Some connections are unclear, as in “The makes people happy,” where the reference to the previous idea is difficult to follow. Develop each paragraph around one main point, then connect the explanation and example clearly. More accurate referencing and a concluding sentence would also make the overall progression feel more complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “supermarkets,” “different countries,” “fruits and vegetables,” and “every season.” The examples are relevant, and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “different countries,” “fruits,” and “buy.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “Secoundly,” “avilable,” and “make life easily,” which reduce accuracy and naturalness. Aim to use more precise expressions for importing and accessing food, and check spelling carefully. A wider range of accurate vocabulary would help you explain the benefits more specifically.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most sentences use simple structures, and you attempt to connect ideas with “because” and “but.” This allows the reader to follow the general meaning, but the range of sentence forms is limited and errors occur frequently. For example, “it give people more choices” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “The makes people happy” is missing a clear grammatical subject. In “they can send to Pakistan,” the object of “send” is not stated, making the sentence incomplete. There are also problems with articles and sentence punctuation, including spaces before full stops and commas. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add longer sentences using clauses such as “which” or “because.”
