Student answer (Band 5.0)
The is an ongoing debate, in many regions around a world nowadays, customers went to supermarket to bought the food.
On the one hand, this is the postive development because many people bought their stuff from the supermarket. For example, individuals wants ebery things they need in single place. Moreover, buying goods in one place like malls and supermarket is very helpful for everyone because it saved the money and time such as, every things place in one place its convenient and reliable for people. In addition, individuals does not go any where every thing they need can buy from the supermarkets.
On the other hand, this is the negative for some vendors especially small vendors and shops, For example, the supermarkets grabed the consumers to buy food from there because they offer varieties of goods in one place that's the negative impact on small vendors because they opened their shops for profits and sell their stuff no customer are coming the reason is that they already bought from the malls. However, this is disadvantages for many businesses like small shops.
Overall, the supermarkets are very benficial for people because its ssaves both time and money but this is not good for other businesses like commercials shops.
In conclusion, this is not a better idea to develops the malls and supermarkets in the town just one is enough that is the way negative impact on the economy of the country because large number of businesses affected by this and the ratio of jobs were also affected. Simply, a lots of people were shutdown their shops because they were going in loss.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the topic by presenting benefits for consumers and disadvantages for small businesses, and your conclusion gives a negative overall judgement. However, the position is not consistent: the body and overview call supermarkets beneficial, while the conclusion says their expansion is not a good idea. The discussion also shifts from access to internationally produced food to supermarkets and malls in general, so the central issue is only partly addressed. Your examples—saving time and money, and small shops losing customers—are relevant, but they are asserted rather than explained in detail. State a clear view on global food availability and support it with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help identify the intended structure. However, progression between ideas is limited: the first body paragraph repeats the convenience point several times, while the final paragraph introduces effects on jobs and the national economy without developing the link. Some connections are unclear, particularly “the ratio of jobs were also affected.” The contrast between the positive overview and negative conclusion also weakens the overall flow. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain it in sequence, and make the conclusion match the position established in the introduction.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “consumers,” “vendors,” “profits,” and “negative impact,” so the reader can follow the general discussion. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “one place,” “people,” and “small shops.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “postive,” “benficial,” “grabed,” and “commercials shops,” which reduce precision. Some expressions are awkward or unclear, including “the ratio of jobs” and “a lots of people were shutdown their shops.” Build a more accurate set of terms for international food trade and local businesses, and check spelling and collocations when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a few longer sentences using connectors such as “because” and “however,” but most structures are simple, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur throughout: “customers went … to bought,” “individuals wants,” and “it saved the money and time.” Articles and plurals are also frequently inaccurate, as in “around a world,” “in single place,” and “every things.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand, particularly in the final sentence. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses; pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement, verb patterns after “to,” and articles.
