Student answer (Band 5.0)

In recent years, a lot of countries nowadays, byers can go to a supermarket and purchase food produced all over the word has become a widely discussed issue. While some people consider this development beneficial others believe it may creat certain problems. This essay will discuss the main aspects of this issue. In my point of view, this is good thing because most people like international food and taste new food.

one major point to consider is that consumer can go to supermarket and buy food all over the world. This is primarily because individuals buy international food easily. consequently people not move to another country to purchase international food. For insatance,as well as, last time i eat mushrooms and i like it very much but not a pakistani food, however i purchase easily to near to supermarket. This clearly demonstrates that this is good thing to purchase easily any international food.

On the other hand, there are some disadvatages,as well as advantages, most trader buy most food is ver low price in international level but sales huge price then most people disagree and no purchase international product particularly food. for example last time i purchase some international food and i send huge money.

In conclusion, in many countries nowadays, consumaer can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world has both positive and negtive aspects. However, i believe to buy international food easily and positive impact this development because most people like like international food and easily purchase international food in own country. Overall, a balanced approach is essential to maximize the benfits while minimizing the possible drawbacks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall preference for international food, stating, “this is good thing,” and you include a reason and personal examples, such as buying mushrooms and spending a large amount on imported food. You also acknowledge a possible disadvantage involving prices. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the positive case is mostly that international food is easy to buy and enjoyable, while the negative point is difficult to follow and not explained in relation to the wider development. The opening says the essay will discuss the issue but does not establish a precise position clearly, and the conclusion repeats the preference rather than drawing together developed reasons. Explain how global food choice affects consumers, producers, or local food systems, and support each point with a clear example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable essay shape, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing also signals a contrast through “On the other hand.” However, progression within and between paragraphs is often unclear, and several linking expressions are inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “consequently” does not clearly connect the claim about buying food to the idea that people need not travel, while “as well as” is awkwardly inserted before the mushroom example. The second body paragraph combines traders’ pricing, consumer disagreement, and a personal purchase without showing how these ideas relate. Use a simple sequence in each paragraph—main point, explanation, example—and choose linking phrases only when their logical relationship is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “international food,” “purchase,” “consumer,” and “disadvantages,” and the reader can generally identify your main subject. However, the range is limited and key phrases are repeated, especially “international food” and “easily.” Several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “most trader buy most food is ver low price in international level” and “sales huge price.” There are also misspellings such as “byers,” “word” for “world,” and “benfits.” Build a more precise set of topic phrases, such as “imported products,” “food from overseas,” and “consumer choice,” and check spelling and natural word combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a contrastive opening with “While some people consider…” and a concluding sentence beginning “However.” Nevertheless, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. The opening sentence is not a complete, well-formed statement, and “While some people consider this development beneficial others believe…” lacks punctuation between the contrasting clauses. Other examples include “most people like like international food,” “last time i eat mushrooms,” and “this is good thing,” which show problems with repetition, tense, articles, and sentence construction. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses; check verb tense, subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
