Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: the reason for the request, the preferred schedule, and the benefits to the employer. However, the development of these points is quite limited. For instance, the explanation of how the studies benefit the hospital is brief and lacks specific detail. Furthermore, the response is slightly under the 150-word minimum, which impacts the overall development of the ideas. To improve, you should expand on your points with more descriptive language and ensure you meet the minimum word count requirement to fully satisfy the task instructions.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the flow of information. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'In my records', though the transitions between sentences can feel a bit mechanical or abrupt. The paragraphing is appropriate for a formal letter. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more fluidly, and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that transitions smoothly into the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your request clearly. You use some relevant professional terms such as 'working schedule', 'full time', and 'beneficial'. However, the range is somewhat limited and repetitive. There are also minor issues with word choice, such as 'I Completed GNM Nursing', which should be 'I have completed my GNM Nursing'. To improve, try to incorporate more varied and precise vocabulary related to professional requests and academic goals to demonstrate a broader range of lexical control.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. For example, there are issues with capitalization ('i need', 'yours sincerely'), missing articles ('in a week' vs 'per week'), and sentence fragments or awkward phrasing ('In my records my performance always good'). These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they are noticeable. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent punctuation will help improve your accuracy and overall score.
