Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to request a temporary reduction in my working hours so that i can pursue a part time professional qualification in project management ,which begins next month

Over the past few years, i have greatly enjoyed working for the company and have a great deal from my role.However , i believe that further eduction will help me develop new skills and broaden my knowledge . As the course involves evening lectures ,regular assignments ,and weekend workshops ,it would be difficult to manage my current full time schedule while maintaining the high standard of work expected of me.

if possible , i would like to work from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm ,Monday to Friday ,instead of my current full-time hours .this arrangement would allow me enough time to attend classes and complete my coursework without affecting my attendance or productivity at work.

I am confident that the knowledge and practical skills i gain from the programme will be valuable to our company.

I would be greatly if you could consider my request. i would happy to discuss this proposal with you at your convenience and find an arrangement that works well for both the company and me.
